Today's Blind Items
I don't really like to name my blind items. I hate anything that makes me sound like Ted C. Oh sure there is Coke Mom and The Director's Wife. I have missed stories about her, but there is a reason. Just cannot say because then it would give it away.
Anyway, today, I wanted to call this something like, "If she only knew." Within the past five days this B+ movie actress who started on television and has hit the cusp of A list a few different times was on the red carpet with her nemesis. The thing is our B+ actress ("No Clue")has no clue about her nemesis. The nemesis ("Nemesis") is a C lister who has aspirations of higher lists but no one can stand her once they spend more than five minutes with her so that is probably not going to happen. Anyway, in the past the nemesis hit on No Clue's ex boyfriend who is also a B list movie actor who was in one of my favorite movies of all time. Hit on him hard. Hit on him so hard that they ended up f**king for three days straight at a hotel. No Clue knew about the cheating because he is a serial cheater but had no idea about Nemesis. Fast forward a few years and Nemesis has tried on two different occasions to hit on No Clue's husband who is also an actor. Nemesis has hit on him hard. Done everything possible, but so far he has resisted. The thing is, this is not a coincidence. Nemesis is bitter about a role that she thinks No Clue stole from her which made No Clue a star and Nemesis still clawing her way up the ladder.
No Clue thinks Nemesis is her friend. Nemesis wants it that way so she can stay close and keep trying to screw over No Clue anyway she can.

I have NO, um, clue who No Clue might be, but how about Olivia Wilde as the Nemesis? She certainly doesn't seem to pal around with many girlfriends, and she's had two movies come out in the past few weeks.

Garner hasn't been on any carpets lately, and I'm with the person who doubts whether Ben is capable of resisting temptation. Enty gave us a REALLY specific timeline -- within the past five days. That really narrows it down.
As long as Mila Kunis has nothing to do with this, I'll accept any possible guesses. ;-)

I think No Clue is Sarah Michelle Gellar. Got her start on TV, "Buffy" made her nearly A-list, then she had those I Know What U Did movies. She's married to another actor (Freddie Prinze Jr), now has a new show this Fall.
Not sure who Nemesis is, but for some reason I'm thinking Michelle Trachtenburg. She was also on "Buffy", no one likes her, C list, etc.

Bilson and SMG are too far apart in age and experience. SMG was already a "star" before Bilson was out of high school; her first IMDB credit wasn't until 2003. SMG hasn't done much since Buffy, so I don't think it's them. These two are going to be closer in age or at least have some decent credited roles in the same time frame. As for the Trachtenberg guess, that makes sense, but who would the B list BF have been? SMG has been with Freddie P forever.
I love the Claire Danes/Hugh Dancy/Billy Crudup guess, just can't figure out who Nemesis could be...It's def not Claire Danes as Nemesis and Mary Louise Parker if you guys are thinking MLP as No Clue/CD as Nemesis, seeing as that cheating was out in the open. Everyone knows, including MLP. It says No Clue doesn't know about the cheating with Nemesis.

The only one that makes sense there is Billy Crudup as B lister with cheating rep. I don't think Claire Danes is B+, and has been cusp of A. I'd say B-, been cusp of B+, and that was 10+ years ago. Also, I agree with Jamee; even if MLP didnt know, CD isn't C list, and MLP and CD too far in age and experience to bear a grudge for a lost star making role. I'd say these are going to be two late 20's - late 30 somethings.

What about Jen Garner for No Clue with Keri Russell for the Nemesis? I've heard (or read) JJ Abrams say Sydney Bristow came from the idea of "what if Felicity was a spy?". Maybe Keri feels she lost that role to Jen? Keri hasn't done too much since Felicity (at least nothing major).

I think it's SMG and Michelle T. Michelle is known to be difficult to deal with on set, so she's a ringer for Nemesis.

Jaiden, Michelle T certainly sucks, and Freddie P is known to be a stand up guy who'd reject her, but upon review the star making role would have to be Buffy. MT was 12 when it debuted, so I'd have to doubt it. Also, other than the teen set, was SMG ever close to A list? This is a tough one.
The photo of SMG and RB was taken on Wednesday, August 3, at the TCA Party. I don't think Michelle T was at the same red carpet event. Jerry O'Connell, who was in Stand By Me, is SMG's ex boyfriend.

Michael Vartan is recently married. Keri Russell was already famous from Felicity when JJ Abrams was creating Alias. JJ considered Jen Garner because she had a bit part on Felicity.
The chick from the Office (Pam) was up for the role of Alias from Garner. However, Garner got it, and chick from office says she's glad, as she got to sit behind a desk, and not have to do all those stunts.
I thought it was SMG and Freddie Prinze Jr too. I just didn't really think it with J Love. Could be wrong though. She has something consistently wrong with her.
SMG fits. Nemesis needs to be someone she has been on the red carpet with in the last 5 days. The TCA CBS event was yesterday, and SMG was there. Other females in attendance from what I can see: Claire Danes, Rachel Bilson, Jamie King, Emmy Rossum and Kristen Bell.

That means Nemesis have never been bigger than C list. So, not Jennifer Love Hewitt, Michelle T, Keri Russell, Blake Lively, Claire Danes or Alicia Silverstone. The only one mentioned that fits is Rachel Bilson.

And I can also see JLH for the Nemesis -- both she and SMG were teen stars in the nineties, but SMG was EVERYWHERE for a while, seemingly, and critics loved her on Buffy. That role definitely made her career skyrocket.
Also, I fucking loathe Jennifer Love Useless, and I can *totally* picture her being the sort of vengeful scumrag who would do this.

Um, Rachel Bilson was actually on an episode of Buffy. She was a slayer in Season 7, though she's only on screen briefly once or twice. Joss Whedon often put people in the show who had auditioned for the role of Buffy (Charisma, Harmony, "Anne"), so it's possible...
let's leave ms. jenna fischer out of this! she's way too pregnant to try and steal some guy away anyways.

Beyond that, most people who auditioned for the part wound up on the show, which would make her being friends with Nemesis make sense. Let's see...there was Charisma Carpenter, Mercedes McNab, Elizabeth Anne Allen, and Julia Lee...but like...are any of them even c-list? I give up.

I'm on board with Claire Danes as No Clue.
She had a cheating ex - Billy Crudup (who was in Almost Famous, Sleepers and Watchmen which could all be potential favourite films for men). She is married to Hugh Dancy, an actor. She started in TV, she's been in enough films over the years to qualify as B+ and lets not forgot she was in Romeo + Juliet which was MASSIVE in its time and definitely put her on the cusp of A list. Its probably also the role her nemesis wanted, although IMDB only spits out names of people higher than C list - SMG, JLH, Natalie Portman, Alicia Silverstone. She was on the red carpet at the CBS Summer party in the past few days, but the only person from that list that fits is SMG and shes higher than C list. Also I dont buy SMG as No Clue. If the ex-boyfriend is David Boreanaz, he is a TV only actor (unless Entys favourite movie was Valentine lol)

OMG...Just thought of it. SMG and Michelle Trachtenberg. Michelle is hated by so many people the minute they meet her. The stories are endless about how horrible she is to work with. She also created drama on the set of Gossip Girl, causing one of the lead girl's eyes to twitch the minute she walked in. She has a bad wrap and she's definitely a C lister and was SMG's co-star on Buffy.

but Emmy Rossum is BFF's with Leighton Meester. I think they grew up together or something. There was a BV that Emmy was jealous that Leighton's career was taking off, so she was debating how she could try to sabotage her somehow.

Actually, I've encountered plenty of gossip outlets who claim she's absolutely insufferable in person. So *you* might not hate her, but plenty of other people do. She's not exactly known for being a nice person -- kind of like Lea Michele.

Claire Danes COULD work as No Clue. Easily. My So-Called Life DEFINITELY made her a star. And Billy Crudup as a serial cheater? Duuuuuuh. Has Enty ever talked about loving Almost Famous? If he does, he's got good taste -- it's one of my favorites, too. :-)

No...I absolutely can't stand Emmy. If it IS her...glad to hear it. Like I said above, she's tried to backstab Leighton too.
I also went back and read the BV and realized that "both actresses were photographed on the carpet together." Missed that part. The only 2 I really see is the SMG/Rachel photo and the Claire/Emmy photo. for B+/C list actresses. I know SMG was up for the part of Juliet in Romeo and Juliet...and she had to pass, because of All my Children. The part went to Claire Danes. I just hope Enty reveals this one day.

Despite his cheating, David Boreanaz doesn't fit. He was married during the time SMG would have been pre - Freddie Prinze during Buffy, which wouldn't preclude them hooking up, but would preclude SMG being in a known dating realtionship with a "B list movie actor", something DB isn't anyway, unless, as one prior poster pointed out, Enty likes the movie Valentine.
Jennifer Love Hewitt was considered for the role of Daphne in Scooby Doo (2002). But the director wanted a real life couple to play Daphne and Fred...
Up until then JLH and SMG were about equal in status. SMG had Buffy, JLH had the lead in the IKWYDLS movies. But then JLH ran out of gas, while SMG became even more widely known and started a string of popular horror flicks.
Besides trying out for Buffy, Selma Blair was also the first choice for the lead in The Grudge, which is SMG's most financially successful film.
@Doorlocks, wouldn't that be kind of hilariously ironic if the title of the movie that our B+ list actress was in is called "The Grudge", and now Selma Blair is holding a crazy grudge against SMG?? :)
