Nicole couldve easily been a broadway star, but I guess she had more ambition to be a pop star. There's a YouTube video of her singing a song from phantom of the opera. Personally I don't like that song or that musical but I can recognize that the girl can blow (tm randy Jackson). She also can really perform in character. She's probably one of the most talented judges ever among all these reality competitions, so do your homework next time, Enty! ;)
@Don'tRain - this comment may appear twice as I've just lost the whole lot thanks to Google sign-in! I was just coming here to comment on Nicole's version of Phantom of the Opera which blew me away when I heard it, particularly the last 30 seconds when she builds and builds to the most ridiculously high notes, faultlessly. She certainly can sing.

I've preferred Casey to Ben since 200 Cigarettes. Terrible, terrible movie, but I thought he was one of the few redeemable qualities of that piece of celluloid crapola.
I wish Wills would visit hair club. Call me shallow, but he was a cutie when he had hair and I rather like a prince with hair. Sorta the anti-Albert.

Thanks @boadacious Betty! I agree w you...interesting tidbit I found out recently from reading the broadwayworld message boards is that this particular song is commonly lip synced on Broadway...apparently Sarah Brightman set that standard because her particular vocal technique did not lend itself to hitting those extremely difficult high notes 8 nights a week....very few can without getting strained. In fact, if you watched the recent Tony award ceremony, they lip synced the phantom performance (I didn't realize it at the time, but looking back, it did seem a little unrealistically perfect.)
I remember when teenage Brittany was Daisy on "The Guiding Light". Has grown into such a lovely woman.
