It is one thing if you are paying some guy to basically be a boyfriend. One thing that makes it really obvious that this A list celebrity has a paid boyfriend is that he does not work on the weekends. Monday through Friday he is right there, but weekends are his time off.

I don't think her life is all THAT sad. She wanted to be, was groomed to be, and got the right people to become a very famous and very wealthy young woman. What nobody planned on was a latent mental illness. Now she's looked after, cared for, protected, has safe dates/boyfriend, makes money, has her family and children in her life, how is that much worse than anyone else than can't care for themselves? I think she's got it pretty good. I wouldn't complain.

They do call him "Average Dave," right? It's pretty average to have a job that leaves your weekends free. Man's gotta work, in this economy.
Has Enty for even ONCE thought that the guy could be a caregiver? I think they have been seen holding hands only a few times and who is to say she isn't asking him to so as to punk the paps.
She probably has more than one caregiver and he is the one that goes out with her and is there to keep her safe in public.
People making comments about her clothing haha. My son has drawers and a closet with good clothing in it and he will always go and get the nastiest thing he owns! We have to remind him to bathe, brush his teeth, comb his hair and all. It is not something that they are aware of it just happens with them. If we didn't tell my son he would go weeks without bathing or whatever. It is heartbreaking to have those you love with mental illness and Enty doesn't seem to have any clue as to what it entails to be the person having to be the person looking out for them and protecting them.
I see it too. Hopefully their brains are ok.
I seriously feel bad for your son. You're right. This guy is probably a paid carer. Makes me feel worse for her 2 boys. I hope someone is caring for them. Bless. Attachment disorder is likely to scar them for life. Angels.
@Anna, I do think it's sad that everyone around her is using her for money. I think her family sucks (not the kids, it's not their fault). But I agree with you that her life is not THAT tragic. Some people make it sound like she lives on the street, has no food, gets beaten, etc etc etc. That's just silly. There are a ton of people who have it way worse than Britney Spears ever has or ever will.
My knee-jerk reaction is "how sad for Britney," but you know what? When it is George Clooney, Tom Cruise, Simon Cowell, Ryan Seacrest, etc. renting their girlfriends, I think they're a bit skeevy, sure, but sad and pathetic? No. No I do not. So you know what? I say more power to Britney for renting herself a man whose Pop Tart and Budweiser habit she won't have to support for the rest of her life, like Kevin Federline.
Not that there's anything wrong with Pop Tarts and Budweiser, mind you! Oh, no no no!!!

Couldn't care less about Brit, aside from pitying her. But to mention her in the same para w/Courtney Love is just wrong. The latter may be batsh*t-crazy, but she's not an aging, shallow prefab teen popstar who mentally imploded. If you never liked 70s punk, okay; Nirvana must have sounded *really* Cool. Unfortunately, 70% of their work fails to meet the raw energy & feeling of Love's recordings--which are on a par with Patti Smith--lyrically & emotionally.

K. As a youngster I spent time backstage & touring w Miss love. Crazy drug pig. And Evan Dando was KIND to her. She's a mess. And reliant on the talent of others. And mainlines H like a mutherfucker

I think the general idea is that she isn't aware that her team has hired him to date her and she thinks he is into her whereas Clooney and the like know what they are doing. Oh and they weren't ritualisticly abused and sold off into the fame game at a young age
