This actress has been a steady C+ to B-. Foreign born. Always works, but you would be hard pressed to pick her out of a crowd and match her with her name. Her name is probably B+ list. She has had some issues on movie sets the past two years. Apparently this C- list actor with A list name recognition who was in a very high profile relationship that she dated for awhile spread a whole bunch of rumors about her. Lots and lots of them. Like he was in his own version of high school. She says that most of the stuff never happened and probably would never be able to happen because he takes so many drugs and drinks so much that he is impotent half the time and their sex never lasted longer than 30 seconds. She is shocked that he ever managed to get anyone pregnant. Anyway, his rumors have made working on sets very uncomfortable because he tells everyone that she is easy and that she will have sex with anyone famous or who spends a couple of bucks on her. During her most recent movie, almost the entire cast was men and she says that she had to hide every second that she was not actually filming because the guys would not stop hitting on her and at one point she thought about walking off the set and quitting and going back home.

Hi Derek,if you liked "Candy" you should watch for "Holding The Man" movie W/Guy Pearce & Ryan Corr(filming now,i think,unless they finished or ran out of money) also directed by Neil Armfield who i also like...... I still don't care for Abbie C's antics though,as you may've guessed..LOL

Meh. Ryan is a jerk, for sure, but everyone knows that. So, Abbie Cornish - what does that say about you, eh? I don't think Ryan had to spread rumors. I do think Abbie spread her legs and often.
Does this mean the Ryan cheating blinds are fake?
Well, she's kind of a lousy actress, so she is probably always getting work BECAUSE of his rumors. She should be grateful.
She IS overrated, and there's a good reason why she hasn't really broken through as an actress in the U.S. As for the rumors, she's far from innocent...the things she said about him weren't so nice, either. BTW, wasn't her affair with him what caused his marriage to collapse?

She made that name for herself when she slept with a high profile married man resulting in America's sweetheart (at the time) getting a divorce. She actually will sleep with anyone famous and she's proven that. I guess she thought it had been long enough, that we forgot. Try again, queen.

Abbie was divine in Bright Star. Phillippe is a jerk but everybody already knows that.

I'm indifferent, don't know her work. Isn't it easy enough to make it clear you're not looking?
I was so stoked when I heard they were making that book into a film! I just hope they do the story justice. Guy Pearce is an excellent casting choice.
@Q, me too.I'm hopeful under Armfield's direction & Guy Pearce as the lead it'll stay true to the story.I was psyched that Guy P.was cast too! we'll see... : )
Let's not forget Abbie Cornish's's part in Gary Oldman's break-up with his 4th wife(which evidently isn't that hard to do)!!! Weren't they literally caught in the act by Mrs. Oldman during "Robocop"-she definately caught them somewhere during filming...so,there's that..countless others..
