This celebrity sibling who probably has the best business in her family of music entertainers (of which she is not one) asked for $25K to attend a charity event. Does anyone do anything for free? All they wanted her to do was show up. Nothing else.

Like she ever needed spare cash at any time in her life. It must be great to be born into wealth.
Perhaps advised by her father. He has ties to top 2% coterie.
She's a successful clothes designer.. time is money and perhaps she wants to arrive first class.
Her time's only worth a damn thing when she's designing something. And if she's so successful, she can buy her own first-class ticket.
Well, if you can get people to fund you this way, that's one method to ensure you will never need the $. The rich are different from you and I, blah blah blah.
