Blind Items Revealed #5 - Kindness

July 18, 2015

It was probably filmed and my tipster didn’t know it, but let us give our celebrities some credit. For now. This A list reality star along with her fading quickly rapper husband gave the largest donation of stuff to a homeless shelter here in CA that the shelter has ever received.

Kim Kardashian/Kanye West

And they're not terrible parents, as it turns out. No one expected normalcy, that's for sure. Good for them.

Meh. It's a tax write-off for clothing they'll never wear again or can't sell. Donate some M.O.N.E.Y.

I'd like to see some homeless woman wearing some of her big ass dresses she doesn't want to wear anymore.

What homeless shelters need in my area is mostly money to feed and shelter the homeless and where I live it is needed six months out of the year. I am sure most of it was clothes from failed lines and free stuff. I am not ready to give them a big pat on the back..just yet. Tax write off and filmed for the show is a good reason to donate in my mind.

They gave. Great for those on the receiving end. But, as other's have pointed out their generous donation was more than likely the stuff that didn't sell from their various clothing lines. So I guess this can be listed as a "win-win"? Shelter gets a sizable donation of clothes, etc. and Kimye get's a sizable tax write-off. Unfortunately my $25 here and $50 there donations don't add up to enough to bother with itemization and I end up taking the standard deduction. Maybe one day I'll be rich like the Karwestians and can afford to give more. :)

Wait I thought a previous blind said the kardashians would rather destroy their clothes then donate them? So which is it? Plus they did a show where they went to a homeless shelter and helped out and brought toys and clothes. Either way it's nice if they did donate.
