This foreign born A list mostly movie actor only has success when in a franchise that he was not in on from the beginning. His other projects have bombed and one of the reasons is his fans. He doesn't like them. Oh, he will cheat on his wife with a very good looking fan from time to time, but for the most part he is an a-hole and will ignore you or tell you to f**k off. Not a pleasant guy at all.

Wow- what an ingrate. And such a beautiful wife(though I have a feeling she's a tough character too a bit)....he was just another English bloke with some talent before Bond( and that speedo scene merging from the sea).A height challenged one at that.

Okay.. unlike everyone else here I liked Ryan Reynolds in "Woman In Gold" -the movie's supposed to have been Helen Mirren's vehicle & it was..Ryan played the character mild & meekish like the guy actually was..as stated by the actual guy.(j.s.)

Steroid use is tricky. Not everyone can handle the risk, anger, and sexual destructive impulses. Though some manage well enough.
Depressing as it is, I think Reynolds is a good guess. Craig has a number of movies that were either box office or critical success or both; Reynolds has basically shit the bed with every movie he's opened on his own, although Hollywood keeps giving him bites at the apple.
Ryan did great box office with "the Proposal" - maybe because of Sandra B., and "The Change Up "with Bateman. He was great in both and they were hits! Also I loved them:)
I agree Reynolds is likely a douche, but it can't be him because the Deadpool movie hasn't come out yet, and it says success when in a franchise. Unless Enty is counting his cameo as Deadpool in the Wolverine movie 6 years ago, but that's a pretty big stretch to call success. Craig fits better.
Layer Cake was a decent flick but not a hit. The rest were films that Craig didn't headline. His non Bond headliners have been turds, and yes, so has everything Reynolds headlines, but Craig is in an established franchise. Reynolds' Deadpool has not even been released yet.

Though Craig is in the news right now for being a wanker, Reynolds has a long track history of not being pleasant. He's also only had minimal successes, whereas Craig has had a few. He might not have been the primary name in all his films, but he's made some good choices.
Also, Reynolds fucked over Alanis Morrissette and 1990s college-age me will never forgive him. Hasn't that poor woman suffered enough?
I've seen Craig in a number of things. He was always the best part of the film. See Archangel in addition to Derek's list. That said, because of the recent blurb about slashing his wrists, it's probably supposed to be him.
Even when I see a photo of Reynolds or read his name, I tend to lose consciousness, a charisma challenged guy like no other.
I liked "Woman in Gold" too, I though he did a goog job there. Helen Mirran did too of course. But that's to be expected from her. She's soo good...
Daniel Craig. A few years ago at an AIDS charity event in NYC, columnist Cindy Adams approached him (she is in her 80's) and he told her to "F--- Off!" Needless to say, she doesn't mention him in her columns any longer. He will regret his comments about his James Bond role in the future when someone like Tom Hardy is James Bond and he is no longer getting roles offered to him. And he said in a recent interview how much he hates working on Broadway! Talk about burning bridges! How much longer will his marriage last with an attitude like this?
With both of them cheating left and right I'm pretty sure the Craig-Weiss marriage is long over. It started fast and weird so it's not really surprising.
I think this is Reynolds for the reasons already stated by others. Craig is dumb as a post but he's a good actor. Funny how often the two go hand in hand (cough*DeppPhoenixPitt*cough). Reynolds' resume isn't anywhere near as respectable as Craig's.
As you will remember, he had been living with the Japanese-American gal for years when, out of nowhere, he's married to Rachel. Didn't see that coming and neither did his live-in girlfriend. She told everyone she was preggers so he married her. And, after a couple of weeks, she has a miscarriage. Right. With regard to his being dumb as a box of hair, he admits he spends most of his non-work days playing video games. He's almost 50! So sad, 'cause he is really talented and I have always adored him.
Daniel Craig is highly intelligent and the line about him being dumb was said in irony. He reads all the time, and he does lots of charity. The only thing he can't handle well is fans in his face 24/7. He is a consummate professional when it comes to acting though.
