The third installment of a franchise might never get released theatrically next year. If the second installment of the franchise does any worse than the already horrible predictions, it will be a straight to On Demand release. One of the stars of the movie says he already got paid so don’t expect him to do any promotion next year and very little this year.

50 Shades franchise?
I can't imagine being known for such a shitty franchise. Especially when you have something like The Fall under your belt.
I can't imagine why so many women went to see what amounts to a rape fantasy movie last time around. I guess when you're a fourty five year old housewife whose husband ignores her for in favor of porn and his hand you have to get your sexy from somewhere?
I think this is put out to get the Stans and shippers stirred up. They want a blockbuster opening, Dakota and Jaime are plugging like mad, if just the people from she's not letting go show up, it will be huge!
The predictions are horrible? Really? That surprises me.
While I don't think the movie is going to do as well as last year, the stars have been doing much press. They are in multiple magazines, Dornan has been on or is scheduled to be on Ellen, Kimmel, Colbert, The Talk, Today Show, and Graham Norton, plus some European talk shows. Dakota has been on Fallon, Today Show, Seth Myers. So not too sure I'm believing this blind. I'm sure the movie is going to do ok, despite itself and the third installment will be out next year on big screen. No way any of these stars are breaking their contracts and not promoting. Breaking a contract would be career suicide for any actor, once word got out, no one would want to work with them and it will cost more money then what they made from the movies.
Jamie Dornan will be okay.. he'll never be A-list but he could land at a solid B/B+. He's already filming Robin Hood and Untogether.. The Fall has shown that he's a really good actor. He'll continue to get work but probably not leading man roles.
Meanwhile Dakota will probably fall into the Kate Hudson category... a celeb-spawn with mediocre acting skills, who will end up being famous for being famous. In a few years, Dakota will come out with a blog, line of clothing or some skincare b.s, etc.
Oh here we go with the Dakota bashing! You all do realize she was the only saving grace to that movie. She's a good actress and I'm sure she will do just fine. I hate when people say she has famous parents so that's how she gets jobs. She can act and seems very sweet. Dornan just needs some acting lessons and he'll be fine!
