Today's Blind Items - He Finally Had To Pay
This singer is A list. Pretty close to A+ list. Country music. For the past several years, there have been some disturbing stories about him and the way he treats female fans who want to have sex with him. Our singer is married, but that has never kept him faithful. Oh, sure he will spin yarns about being faithful and never strays but it is just a complete bunch of crap. Apparently from the time the hotel room or bedroom door on the bus closes, the women who agree to be with him live several hours of hell. They usually emerge beaten and bruised and have been shown his collection of guns to make sure they don't say anything to anyone. When the woman is on the bus, our singer will usually push her out the door and yell to everyone on board that they are now free to enjoy her. No one actually has sex with her, but that walk through the guys is often a horrible and basically just 90 feet of sexual assault.
Last year, after a woman was forced to walk the bus gauntlet while naked and carrying her clothes and purse with her, she decided to file a lawsuit against the singer. In the letter from her attorney to the attorney for the singer, it highlighted the beating she suffered at the hands of the singer during sex and then listed 14 separate sexual assaults she suffered during the walk down the aisle of the bus. Our singer thought she was bluffing about filing a lawsuit and basically ignored repeated letters from the lawyer. Then, after about six months, the proposed lawsuit was mailed over along with declarations from six other women who had suffered through the bus walk after rough sex with the singer. They were also all prepared to sue. Last month, the singer wrote a check for $1M to each of the women. His wife still has no idea.

Might as well throw Brad Paisley into the mix, too, right? I don't know that Aldean fits, because he's only been married a year (and this suggests it's been an ongoing thing for several years). Adkins has the reputation, but may be the one furthest from A+ list consideration of those named. So really, it could be any of these guys. Brooks (may be border A+ only because there was a bit of a hiatus between albums - 2001 to 2014), Keith, Bryan, Paisley, McGraw... any other names to throw in the hat?

Could very well be Paisley. He's an avid hunter and his wife was dealing with her mothers dementia the last 5-10 years amd they've got two boys so she would easily. e distracted. Her mother only died last year.

Consenting to sex does not mean consenting to being violently attacked. Further, intelligence has nothing to do with the likelihood of being a victim of assault. It's really disheartening to hear you disparage these women, and that you lack compassion for the incredible horror they experienced because of this man's actions.
Stop being a simpleton. The guy is a complete asshole but so are the women. Females are not children, they need to be responsible for themselves and make smart decisions. If you choose to sleep with a married stranger to get ahead you are putting yourself in a bad position that can have terrible consequences. Women need to stop being stupid and giving their bodies to men who don't give a fuck about them. Take responsibility. If you make a really stupid decision you need to own it.
Any comeuppance for someone like this is good, but criminal comeuppance would be better than civil. I hope these women can in time come to a place where they feel ready to report this abuser to the police.

Since the first time I saw his picture I assumed he was gay. He has the stereotypical gay face. He isn't the person mentioned here.
Not just "stories" about Garth's bisexuality; remember that Garth was named by "Big Red", the male hustler who also serviced Tom Cruise as a client back in '06. And he passed lie detector tests, administered by Anthony Pellicano. (Pellicano was the big-name PI who eventually went to jail for illegal wiretaps and weapons charges, but his skills were never questioned.) Randy Travis was also on that list, IIRC.
That said, Toby Keith sings about lynchings and has been married for 32 years. He also got into a punchout with a fan in '09. Not to say there aren't other contenders, but it wouldn't surprise me if this was Keith, rather than Garth.
