Manson is a good hypothesis as well, and I would place MM at A+ in his prime (even if his music didn't appeal to me, those lyrics were as smart as they were brutal) before Reznor. But he appears to be going down in flames himself.
Alice Cooper would be in front of both of them, but I've also heard (like Tricia13) that Cooper's been clean for a long time and plays golf all the time.
If Keef is doing heroin (again. Again. Again.) that would be quite impressive for a 70+ year old dude. Then again, we know from past history he'll often fly to Switzerland, filter 25 pints of fresh blood through his body on one of those machines for a couple hundred thousand bucks, and instantly get clean. So maybe he's got that down to a science. He's got at least two dozen Stones songs he sings lead, plus a couple solo albums with the Winos. It could be him, but that would be bad.
Of course, if it's not Depp, I just spent wasted 250 words down the wrong shadow path.

Trent Reznor, Alice Cooper and Keith Richards have been sober for years. Depp is my guess because he looks so unhealthy. ("Another movie" referring to another movie after whatever he is working on now, if anything.) M. Manson apparently still uses drugs and has never looked healthy.
FWIW, the Hollywood Vampires just finished performing in Manchester, England. Katie Fitzpatrick of the Manchester Evening News reported Depp looked younger than his 55 yrs and, despite the recent stories about him looking ill or gaunt, he: looked far from it, I can assure you Mr Scissorhands looks in fine fettle indeed here in Manchester, and like he’s having the absolute time of his life as he smiles, applauds and waves in appreciation for all the cheers from the crowd.

You don't know much about Amber Heard, do you Unknown? She has an alcohol/coke addiction problem herself. I don't suppose her falsely accusing him of wife beating AFTER he refused to pay her $50'000 a month - which even her own lawyer thought was excessive - exactly helped him either. Yes, he takes the share of the blame for his drinking/drug habits too, but your incessant defending of Amber Heard is laughable given her criminal history. She is not the victim you think she is. And Depp only got back on the booze and drugs when he hooked up with her. He was clean prior to getting involved with her. As said before, it's a shame he and Vanessa split up. He was healthy when they were together.
The only blinds you will read about Alice Cooper are Kindness blinds. He is amazing, in every single way. A true gentleman, great golfer, and he is funny as fuck.

Depp was productive as hell when he was with Vanessa. A lot of it was Tim Burton crap, on top of Pirates crap, but he was still working constantly, visiting children's hospitals in pirate garb, spending time with his kids. After leaving her, he went off the rails. Whether it's now heavy drugs rather than some mild drugs while with Vanessa, he took a dramatic turn for the worse.
Marilyn Manson is fucked up these days but I miss his interviews of the 90s - sharp fellow.

Depp had the whole world in the palm of his hand and a relatively intact reputation (apart from a few mild bad boy moments during the 21 Jump Street era). He even made it through the early rumours of him putting his hands on Kate Moss.

His fans only see him as a tragic artist, who's not responsible for anything and he's determined to die that way. Until recently, his teeth have been rotting out of his head and media pretend they don't notice.

Aside from and before his drug problems, Johnny Depp has been a raging alcoholic for years, even when he was with Vanessa. There is a reason she didn;'t marry him and is now said to be engaged to someone else. It certainly isn't that she is not the marrying type. It was that Johnny was/is a mess. Sadly, now his daughter is a mess as well.

How many fucking times does it have to be said? Depp was CLEAN when he was with Vanessa. They were together for 14 years. He only got heavy into the booze and drugs again after he and Vanessa split up and he had hooked up with Amber Heard who is a coke addict. He looked perfectly healthy right up until he had finished shooting on the Rum Diaries (when he got with Heard). I know Amber's pretty, but she has a long criminal past.
FFS, she only divorced him because he wouldn't let her move her ex-wife into his house and she was hooking up with her girlfriends while they were married. But yes, Amber played no part in Depp's alcoholism at all...

Correlation or causation, who knows. Our own eyes show us that Depp went down hill with Amber. She might have only been a spectator, we don't know. But she is prone to breaking laws and contracts (she now has to defend herself against a $10 million lawsuit brought just a few months ago by a movie studio. )

One only needs to look at mansions tour schedule of the last year and Johnny’s work schedule. Other than the videos they made, which would have taken a day each, the Charlie sheen photo where I saw one with Manson, One or two concerts together? and Manson’s bday party, they have had relatively minimum time together of a large span of time.
