Britney Gives Up On Kids
If you believe Page Six and believe their story that Britney Spears is moving from LA to NY, she might as well just say goodbye to any serious time with her children. Page Six reported that Britney Spears looked at lofts in the West Village recently with a real estate agent. Of course they also said that she looked at the places with her manager. Does Britney even have a manager? I think they just threw in Britney's name so that way they could use the headline that Britney and Jessica Simpson would be neighbors.
If Britney moved away to New York, she would have to go to court and get permission to have the kids come visit her in NY. It wouldn't happen except in a supervised situation, and would most likely still not be allowed under any circumstance. Her other alternative would be to get on a plane and fly back to LA for her visits with her kids. I think that would happen extremely rarely, to the point of never.
Even under the best of circumstances, with model parents, out of state visits by California children are very rare. With Britney being one of the least model parents, her visits would probably be limited to the phone or visits back in CA.

This isn't surprising. She always considers herself and her needs first. The children then fit in around what's left. It's too much work for her to put anyone else ahead of her own interests.
There was a rerun on Leno last night of Britney pre-KFed. She was so cute and sweet, and it seemed genuine. It almost makes me think they aired that episode so we could see why we all were obsessed with her in the first place.
Isn't this what they call meth psychosis?
I think Sam Lufti, or whatever his name is, has become her manager now. Good luck with that, Britney.
I wouldn't take any NYC real estate news as fact. There's an apocryphal West Village (Broadway near NYU) loft that Brit's supposedly been trying to sell for *years*. I'm not sure she's ever actually stayed there. Now that prices are through the roof in Manhattan, her reps may be actually executing a sale, and that's how her name came up. When you think about it, she probably needs the money.
Oh yeah, she used to live near Astor Place, across the street from Other Music. Back when she worked out, she could be spotted at that Crunch next to the Jivamukti Yoga center, across the street from Butter.
I believe she wants nothing to do with those kids.
Her moving far away would be the best thing for them.
The sad thing is, she WAS likeable back in the day. You watch her MTV performance with Christina and Madonna, and even as she's on the edges of the stage, just twirling around and dancing as Madonna takes the spotlight, she seemed so much more sure of herself, confident, sassy, having fun...not the beaten down mess we see now. Her spirit has been broken, and I think its because of how KFed treated her.
You look into her eyes, and they seem directionless, they seem....lost. Like an emptiness is behind them. Its from a lack of focus, because she isnt thinking. She isnt thinking because its too painful.
I had a man treat me once like KFed treated Britney, only we only had one child instead of two. I was a mess for...almost three years. I could not be reigned in or told what to do. Luckily, I was not as irresponsible with the handling of my child, but...I can honestly say she's not going to calm down and stop acting so stupid, until she's emotionally healed. And with all the escapism of drugs and alcohol and shopping and avoiding reality, its not going to come for some time.
She really has to hit rock bottom and unfortunately, her money and the people she allows to control her right now, will not allow that...I'm genuinely scared for her. Its hard to see someone in a place you've seen so many young woman, including yourself, and not be able to articulate how to get out of it, to them.
Britney's handbags and lattes are more important to her than those children. It's truly sad. I would cherish those children, just like I do my own...
She has no idea what she's missing. I hope someone is raiding them properly..
And if I was her mother I wouldn't care if she was an adult or not - I'd beat her until she couldn't see straight.
With all the money she spends on clothes, why does she always look as though she dresses out of a bin at the 99-cent store?

Perhaps her moving across the country away from those kids is the best gift she could give them.
