Bye Bye Bridget
Just when I thought Bridget Marquardt might get to be the star this year of Girls Next Door and give me a reason to watch, it looks as if that won't be the case. In an interview over the weekend Bridget was dropping hints that she won't be long for the house. I am hoping that she is going to be in some of the new season because I feel like she didn't get enough attention focused on her. I mean with Holly Madison basically controlling who got to be seen, Bridget seemed to be left out of a great deal. Everything basically centered on Holly and how she was the best and smartest and had the best fake breasts.
Every now and again she would show us Kendra if Kendra looked like an idiot, but Bridget was basically forced to the sidelines all of the time unless it was specifically about someone in her family coming to visit. Of course since Bridget is married, and getting a PhD and is about ten years older than Hef's ideal, it is no wonder she doesn't want to be there anymore.

They should've thrown a bajillion dollars at her. The show would have a much better chance of surviving with a member of the original cast besides Hef.
Maybe Bridget has some non-sex-symbol-type deals in the works? Or maybe she's just getting smarter with her PhD studies and is getting out of Hollywood. Not everyone gets sick of the shallow crap, but it can sure wear a person down. Whatever she does, I'm sure she'll feel better about it than she does about the current arrangement.

Just so nobody gets confused.. Bridget got married back in 1997 and has been separated from her husband for many years and said about a year ago that they're in the process of finalizing their divorce and that they're only friends now..

bridget is developing her own shows. she's career minded and naturally beautiful. her theme parties and the fake whiny "tv" voice gets on my nerves. she's barely a talent, but i think she will age well. get the rich husband and recurring role(soap?) if you can....

The show's title is Bridget's Beaches. She's my favorite as well. I saw Holly's "before" photos on dlisted last week, and OH.MY.GOD. she looked an ugly disaster, googly eyes, unrefined nose (night and day from her looks of today). I'd like to know who her plastic surgeon is and sign myself up.
Doesn't anyone think this is about $$? Their show is pretty popular and the 3 girls have become celebrities. Perhaps they were getting too expensive and so Hef cut them loose. The new twins are young and not all that cute and probably much less expensive.

califblondy, she definitely had her masters before the show started so the next step in degrees would be PhD. Though I know nothing about whether she's actually pursuing it or it's a rumor. She was a sweetheart, i hope she puts that PhD to good use and does something to help people instead of just standing around looking pretty.

All this time I thought Bridget was the lesbian of the bunch. If she decided to leave only after the other two have left that would seem to give a different view of life at the mansion.
