I knew this movie was being made and I even knew the basic plot. What I didn't know was that the story for The Men Who Stare At Goats is based on true events in a book of the same name. Really? There are psychic warriors? I really need to read this book.

It was fab. And I think they really got the guys right from what I see in the trailer.
This looks great. Yes, the psychic warrior experiment was real. I think they tried to spy on Russia using their 'powers'.
I rarely want to see any movies that come out nowadays. This might be an exception to the rule.
I'd still make my brother-in-law download it, though.

The Men Who Stare At Goats is one of the funniest/most alarming books ever...everyone should read it, I have sold literally hundreds of copies. Come to Book Soup & I'll get you one for free Enty!
The Russians started trying to use psychic powers in the days before WW II. Guess we didn't want to get left behind. I will definitely see this movie.
Actually, I have a friend who worked for years a psychic (yes, she's the real deal) and at one point the CIA's remote viewing program tried to recruit her. They were real bullies about it, too, when she told them to f*** off. This was in the mid-1990's. So these programs are still quietly going on in the background.

The Reagan's really did have astrologers, which is so freaky. This looks like it will be very funny, I hope it does well at the box office it's got an outstanding cast.

Any movie that includes Boston in its soundtrack has to be good.
