Can't recall who asked in an earlier post, but, "YES. It IS ugly shoe night."
Not much by way of fun frocks, either. Pink's dress is cute, but Shakira wore the same one, so that cancels that out.
So far, the only marginally attractive dress seems to be Alicia Key's.
Several of the men folks look rather studly though.

Everyone must hve gotten the prank memo that said dress like an avatar character, i mean jeesh, all that silver and black in pointy shapes, they looked like some vague startreck groupie band or something.
lady gaga brought IT last night at the performance however THAT DRESS on the redcarpet makes me want to cry. Ah Gaga, one step forward, two steps back (in the immortal words of Paula Abdul)
I am so glad Katy Perry got rid of that 50's look she was sporting. She looks good dressed normally.

yay for iCarly....I really like her show. my 8 yo son can watch her all he wants. thank goodness he doesn't like miley cyrus...he thinks she looks like "Theodore, cause he was the dorky chipmunk." The mouths of babes.
Katy Perry moved up several notches with me last night when she twitted 'FUCK U KANYE. IT'S LIKE U STEPPED 0N A KITTEN' in regards to the crap he pulled on Taylor after her win.
Lady GaGa is always out there going for the shocks and Neyo was robbed at the Grammys but the rest of these red carpeters just don't seem relevent in the least to me.
