Let The Exploitation Begin
Whatever bad things you want to say about Michael Jackson and I can list an entire litany of them, at least he kept his kids sheltered. Now that he is gone though, the publicity whore side of the family has emerged, and according to US Weekly, Michael's three kids are about to be paraded before reality show cameras.
Almost the entire family supports the decision to exploit the kids and make money off the Jackson name while the money getting is good. Rebbie of course thinks it is all effed up and refuses to be a part of it. All the rest of the kids including Janet are all for it. I think that if the brothers and sisters want to make money off their brother's death then it is their business. However, you know that Michael's kids will be the stars and the brothers and sisters know it and the producers know it and this is just going to be on step in a series of steps to mess up those kids.

Would Jackson's executors be able to cut off Katherine Jackson's allowance for permitting this? That's the only way I can imagine this being stopped.
Let's pray the Judge does not allow this - they are minors in mourning for God's sake!!!
wow, how incredibly effed up. looks like katherine isn't any better than any of the famewhoring children she raised. i can't believe she is allowing this. take those children away from her, she clearly doesn't have their best interests at heart.

I wish there were just the tiniest sliver of luck that they would grow up without needing therapy, but that ain't happening.

Can't believe their grandmother would agree to this. Instead of leaving them out of it and give them their peace. Money does talk.

I'm no Michael Jackson fan, but he went more than out of his way to keep his kids out of the media spotlight. At times, I thought his efforts were ridiculous but it was a pleasure not to see his kids exploited in the tabloids every week. He's not even been dead for six months and now his greedy family wants to stick his kids in front of a camera so they can make money. They can't say it's good for the kids because the kids don't need the money or attention. I hope a judge blocks this.

the fact that this is happening to mj's kids when he was the MOST affected and mentally stunted out of the jackson siblings by the limelight being on him 24/7 is so sad. He knew how his childhood spent in the public eye hurt him and i think that is why he went so overboard to protect them. this is equivalent to spitting on his grave. the one thing he held sacred was the privacy of his children and for the family to do this is so horrid.
Considering MJ used his kids to get publicity for himself, this isn't anything new.
What - you didn't _really_ believe that he made them wear masks to "hide their identities", didja? Of course not. All it did was shout out to the world, "Hey look - it's Michael Jackson's kids!"
Talk about making the kids an obvious target for paps and nuts.
