Julie: tips are customary in UK, but wait staff do not rely upon them to make up their weekly wage as much as staff seem to do in USA (seem more obligatory in USA somehow?), from previous discussions on this site.
Most lawful adult workers in UK have to be paid at least the hourly minimum wage (£5.73ph) by law and tips cannot be used to make up the wage.
Yeh, it's not much, but it stops workers at the lower paid end of the scale from being over-exploited by unscrupulous managers.
Many of these guesses are simply actresses who live in England. Nearly every woman cited in these guesses is not seeing her money dry up, even Heather Mills who could not possibly have blown through her settlement this quickly.
Ben46, she's spent millions! She donated a million to her charity in NY spent 3 million on a vacation for herself and like 15 of her 'closest' friends... at least another million on that restaurant... I believe she bought a place in the NYC, so say at least 3mill there, she flies first class everywhere, leaving her daughter in economy.. She only got 50mill, and she's spent at least 10mill of that and she hasn't even had the money a whole year has she?
I'm going with Heather Mills because she is known to be demanding, thinks she's entitled to the earth itself.
Another good guess is Katie Price, but she's still making millions so I don't like that guess as much as I like Mills.

I don't think it's Heather Mills. She is a hardcore vegan and very friendly with the eco/organic restaurant community. Also, I just heard her interviewed the other day and she seems to have a ton of ventures going on.
My guess is Kerry Katona, who keeps getting into very public scandals i.e. "it would explain a lot."
i was thinking kerry katona but it's well known that she's lost tons of $$$ and contracts and her accountant's already told her she's bankrupt (she assaulted him if i recall correctly?) so i'm not sure if that fits with the last line.
