I must be getting old. Oh, wait, I am old. "Butter wouldn't melt in his mouth" is one of the most common sayings in the world, at least to old me.
I always thought that saying meant someone looked innocent or cute, and then when they did something wrong, it gets said then. I'm probably just confusing matters.
