Get well, Burt. I never found him hot in the Smokey/Bandit days, but I recently watched Deliverance again and he was FINE in that, banjos notwithstanding.
My husband tore his Achilles tendon a few years ago--I can't even begin to tell you what a miserable ordeal that was. Of course, he had to go to work on crutches every day for 6 weeks, while wearing a full leg cast & balancing a laptop on his back.
I feel terrible for David Beckham in this instance. But if being out of the World Cup is his worst problem, he should be ok.

Dolly, you're awesome! Did you know that she started the Imagination Library in Sevier County, Tennessee, that mails a new, age-appropriate book to every preschool child in her home county? This program has been expanded in other places around the US and now includes areas in the UK. What an amazing woman!
