he was dressed in black from head to toe,it was an artistic expression of his fashion. i really don't think it was meant in blackface.people are too sensitive, would we be up in arms if he chose to be all in yellow or red? it's not like Gaga did this.
Enty, I have seen milk commercials on Australian TV that are racier than the step daughters pics. I bet you a bacon cheeseburger no one cared.

William is not wearing Black-face...for God sake his black and he isn't mocking black people. His only making himself Darker to make himself look like a robot.
Some people or so f-ing sensitive...look up black-face, the history of black face before you start saying someone is wearing black face.
Now, if he had big white paint around his eyes, big red lips, and had on black or brown paint. He started to talk with a slow southern accent and sing how much he likes watermelon, cool-aid,friend chicken and taking care of the massa chillen. Well, I would say..."Damn...that's some Racist bull-crap"

Also, I happened to catch that performance with Will.I.Am and I didn't think anything of "blackface."
I was more annoyed at the entire performance with the girl sampling "Video Killed the Radio Star" and then not even singing enough to necessitate a mic.

Hi, Australia again here. They tried to beat up stories about the photos of the Prime Minister's step-daughter, but no-one cared. We had no government for over two weeks after a Federal election, no-one cared. We now have Labour back in office having made a minority government with independents, some people care. We are incredibly lucky that we don't have riots or any other negative issues from a hung parliament and waiting two weeks for an outcome. I once worked with a lady from Ireland who couldn't believe how laid back we were about politics. She told us there were armed officers out and about when they voted, here the schools run cake stalls on election day to raise money.
Posh looks tired. She needs some liptstick with a little color. I am so over the nude lip thing.

@Lana's Blog - They have Vitamin Water Zero now...no calories & sweetened w/ Truvia. It's pretty good. Although if you are looking for an electrolyte-replenishing sports drink, I don't think this is it...

I live in Australia and I haven't seen or heard anything about those photos until I came on this site today, although apparently they're in Zoo magazine. It doesn't seem to have gotten a mention in any mainstream media.
Minor point of clarification, Julia Gillard is not actually married, so that is the daughter of her partner, not actually her step-daughter.
