Nursery Rhymes Never Sounded So Good

If you are wondering what CD to buy your child or intended newborn, you may want to hold off for a few months. Edward Reid was a contestant on Britain's Got Talent over the weekend and the guy sang nursery rhymes in a way you have never heard before. I don't know if he can't remember the words to regular songs or what, but this is pretty phenomenal.

A clever parody of the puerile sterility of pop music.

Songs For Emo Infants.

I was almost expecting something along the lines of Andrew Dice Clay, lol.

I love the people in the audience going "eeeh" and Hasselhoff (WTF is he doing on that show, btw?) getting super excited cause he recognizes the lyrics for once!

I can't help but notice how "Britain got talent" show is so much more interesting than our version in the states.

I don't watch BGT, XFactor etc, but this clip is brilliant! I'd definitely buy it!

I love his hand gestures. Humpty Dumpty does evoke a lot of emotion doesn't it? ;)

I thought this post was going to be about those Rockabye Baby CDs (which are pretty cool, IMO).

I was pretty sure I was going to kill myself this morning. This guy makes me reconsider.

I love the British version of that show a lot more too. They raise their kids differently over there, being your own person and individuality are treasured and encouraged.
