Angelina Jolie Ruins Tabloid Covers For The Next 3 Months
Angelina Jolie is on the cover of Vanity Fair this month and pretty much ruined tabloid covers for quite some time. Well, now that I say that, they will probably still run whatever they want to anyway. In the interview, Angelina wants everyone to know she is not pregnant. Did anyone think she was? She weighs like five pounds. She is not adopting. Well that's good because I think she has realized that even with six nannies that she still has a hard time keeping up and forget trying to remember birthdays or even names.
Finally, the world can rest easy because there is no secret wedding, has been no secret wedding and if she did get married to Brad would probably sell the pictures for a billion dollars and give it all to charity. Hear that Kim Kardashian?
The one thing she said which I do not believe for a second is that she says she does not watch television. I think she wants you to think she does not watch television, but she does, and you know Brad does and would admit it.

How does she have time to watch t.v with her career and child army? She looks like a pretty hands on mom, regardless of the nanny situation.
I am so over her. But I was never into her. I do respect her though for saying she would donate all the money to charity.
I would believe she doesn't watch television, I barely have a life and have trouble finding time to catch up on tv shows. If I had six kids and brad Pitt in my bed I can gaurantee I would probably not watch any television at all
We know they watch some television. Brad dressed up as DJ Lance for halloween one year.
I believe because I don't watch TV either, even tho my husband is an addict - so I'm not judgmental it's just that when I have rest time, I read.

I can see the kids watching with Brad kind of keeping an eye on them and what they watch.
I fall asleep when I try to sit down and watch TV. If I find the time.

I believe her, there is so much crap on these days, she's likely finds it too low brow for her. I can see her being more intellectual than Real House Wives of Wherever.

And come on, Enty, it's clear you don't like her, but you need to at least see why she's saying this stuff. People speculate ALL THE TIME about whether she's adopting again and whether she's getting married. Why SHOULDN'T she set the record straight for herself?
Say what you want about her, but I think she's a pretty good mom and a great advocate for international refugees. People need to let stuff in her past go.

She's the reason that I cancelled my subscription to VF: too many covers and cover stories about her. She just isn't that interesting to me. On a side note, a gay friend used to work for a PR firm in NY, saw her at an event he worked and said she is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen.

I say this with full honestly about how much I don't like her: If I were worth that much, looked like that, had the kids I wanted, got paid to say stupid stuff in articles, got paid to play dress-up and be in movies, got to kiss all sorts of people for fun, had several homes around th world AND got to chew on what is considered to be one of the sexiest men alive......I would be smug as hell as well.

I don't watch television. I don't have cable. I'm not paying to see screaming commercials advertising anything. I watch movies. Movies of my choice. Documentaries, comedies, dramas, science fiction, that type of stuff. Not product placement ads and scum glorifying psychopathic and sociopathic behavior. So I'm sure she does NOT watch television. And you shouldn't either. Think about it: an entire world without Kardashians, Paris, Snookie, pathalogical housewives. Instead it's your time spent on something socially redeeming. Maybe even art. (I'm a sick soul! I know.)

Yeah, I can't stand her either (and smug is an excellent adjective to use on her), but I can believe she doesn't watch TV, with all those kids, plus her career, her globehopping, and being with Brad.
Oh, and I'm very pro-TV - my DVR is always full of great stuff - but I've never in my life watched anything with a Kardashian, a Real Housewife, or a Hilton. There are lots of things on the tube that aren't reality-based, and there are lots of things that are as high quality as most movies.
i have the television on all the time. doesn't mean i watch all that so-called reality crap. there IS a lot of good stuff on the box (and yeah, i have all the cable channels. i believe that's t.v., too)- so i call bullshit on that one.
and i still don't like her. i won't even watch "the tourist" as much as i love johnny depp. damn her.
When she was with Billy Bob he said that the two of them would watch "King Of The Hill" every night because it was their favorite show. And she did admit to watching MTV's "Cribs" many years ago. She thought it was stupid and that it was a show designed to make people less fortunate feel bad about their lives - but she did watch it. Brad has talked about being a big "Sopranos" fan years ago.
I'm pretty sure they watch Television. She probably just watches Anderson Cooper mainly, though.
I can't believe I remember the viewing habits of these two from past interviews they gave years ago. What's wrong with my life? LoL.
I don't think she is a talent actress - Salt and Wanted were jokes - I could have nailed her with a sneeze. But she does have an amazing face - with the help of surgery..remember the Access Hollywood time line of her career you can see her face morph. As for the Pitt man he's usually the fool or the pained dramatic figure.
I also think the No TV watching line is bullshit too considering her big breaks came about from starring in the HBO movies "Gia" and "George Wallace.". Two projects she won the best actress Golden Globe awards for.
I think that photo is kind of disturbing in a way I can't explain.
I subscribe to VF and can't wait to read her words of wisdom. In the Jennifer Lopez issue JLo denies having plastic surgery! All you have to do is look at photos of her to see what a liar she is.
Can't stand her and 90% of her "acting" in movies has been absolute crap. The *only* thing I find fascinating enough to stop and read about her is the fact that so many seem to think she is the greatest. Really? She stole 2 husbands, crap acting, was a heroin addict, and has a token goodwill ambassador post that involves absolutely nothing other than showing up to impoverished countries with photog in tow and taking staged pictures - what is that doing for any of these poor people?
Far more interesting watch people be in awe of her than reading about anything she has to say. She's given the same interview for 6 years.
I think she is stunning! No matter what has happened in her past, it is HER past. Right now, she has 6 kids, a normal relationship with Brad, devotion to their kids, and an awareness of global issues, especially with impoverished areas. She and Brad give a ton of money to charity. Some people will say it's an "opportunity" to use, but what an outstanding "opportunity" that helps so many people! I like her and she stands behind what she says, and so does Brad and I like that!
That cover photo is verging into "uncanny valley" territory -- she looks seriously alien.
"Beautiful" externally, maybe. Rancid and toxic internally, definitely.

I love the Closer! I do see the programs. Just without all the screaming ads every 2 minutes. I'm so done with that. And without cable too. There are DVD's for all that stuff. No reason to miss out but also no reason to let media pound me with screaming advertising every 2 minutes. I'm ADD enough without bouncing off 15 second commercials.
Meh - who has time for TV with that many kids? I believe her. I didn't get to watch any television until all mine were in high school.

She's very very pretty, but her acting skills are overrated and this Saint persona people (or herself) created is kinda annoying. To me she's just a manipulating you-know-what.
But in her defense, if I had better things to do I wouldn't watch TV either. I used to love a lot of TV shows, but lately there is nothing very good in my opinion. Ever since the infamous writers strike I feel that TV was never the same.
Isn't this the interview in which she also claims to have written a film script in 2 days, when she had the flu...? Right then....
I got rid of all the televisions but one and cable two years ago. My kids have one little tv in their room with a converter box on PC so the only thing they watch is PBS and Qubo when they do watch it.
I like my movies and television shows, but I watch the shows online and buy the movies I like second hand with a few exceptions of course.
It's streamedlined the crap that goes in and out of my brain on a daily basis and it's cheaper.
