Nicole Richie Says She Has Never Put Makeup On In Her Life
Apparently Nicole Richie has never put her own makeup on herself ever in her entire life. She also has never farted and never snores and her children were immaculately conceived. Nicole told InStyle she does not even own any makeup and then said she only has under eye concealer, mascara, and an eyelash curler. Umm, isn't that makeup? Sounds like it. I bet you she also has some lip gloss and lipstick. Nicole also says that whenever she wears makeup she has to hire someone to put it on her and she has never done it. So, apparently she went through her entire teen years never putting it on? I hate when celebrities make idiotic statements like this. Obviously if she owns that makeup she did not own then she is putting makeup on. Nicole says she does not even know how to put makeup on. Are there plenty of women out in the world who do not wear makeup and probably do not know how to put it on? Absolutely. Is Nicole one of them. Not a chance.

For a while after she married and was preggers I felt like she was redeeming herself and on the road to doing something productive...but it seems I thought that because she was keeping her mouth closed to avoid the escape of idiotic staements like this...and further...who gives a fig? Do you realize how stuck on yourself you have to be to think someone cares about your makeup habits?

Who cares whether she wears makeup or not? Why would she make such a statement when it's obvious to anyone she's lying? Does she think people will think more of her if she doesn't wear makeup? Again, who cares? She truly is sounding like more and more of a ninny these days. I used to think she wasn't so bad, but then I remember that Paris Hilton was once her best friend. Between her, Reese and Rooney, there's been a lot of diarrhea flowing this week.
@chopchop: That's exactly what I thought, too. She sometimes looked like Bozo, the Clown on that show. That wasn't the work of a makeup artist.
I never understood when people suddenly started to like that asshole. She always seemed to outshine Paris in vileness and anti-social behavior on 'The Simple Life' and that's saying something. The girl knew no boundaries and to me she even showed sociopathic tendencies. If I was Lionel Ritchie, I so would have disowned her ass.
I don't get this at all. Why the hell would she say this? Just look at her on that show with Paris, as Mina and chopchop pointed out. She acted and looked like an assclown just on that alone. She's so much like Paris, even though she acts like she's so much better than her. Ditto what SusanB said.
Why would she even say such a thing in the first place? It's not as is wearing makeup is a bad thing, or not knowing how to do your own gets you Purity Brownie Points, and when it's pitifully obvious to even Stevie Wonder that you (a) wear the stuff, (b) apply it yourself, and (c) do a really piss-poor job of it, it only proves that you're a liar, and about something totally insignificant to boot.

I remember on the simple life she was late to work bc she was putting on her makeup..... And they showed her putting on her makeup!

From the few shows I watched, it seemed like Nicole was the "brains" behind the outfit. Paris wasn't smart enough to think up evil shenanigans. But, Paris was such a twit that she still made Nicole look good. After she married and had kids I too liked her a little more, but it seems to me she's still the mean girl and probably always will be.
I never understand why people lie about stuff like this. I'm not open about my age but I don't lie about it.
I worked with a woman who has naturally curly hair. She had it cut into a short bob and it's always straight. She claims it now grows that way. That's right, it's not the work of a straightener, her hair went from curly to straight and glossy with no frizz. Because that happens. Why lie? She also lies about her age and wear clothes two sizes to small (because why wear a 6 when you can zip up a 2?).
It's such insecurity to make yourself appear better than everyone else.
She probably goes to sleep in her makeup so whatever.
i don't get the brag appeal of 'not wearing make-up'. if you are over 30, you need a bit of help, even if it's concealer, mascara & bit of blush. That 'au-naturelle' look requires a bit of goop.
I work with a vile cow that always brags how she "never leaves the house without her nails-which are TALONS, not nails, those acrylic messes that curl under they're so long, with airbrushed palm trees & jewels on every nail, yet she doesn't put on stitch of make-up. She's 52, smokes & drinks coffee all day. "Dewy' is not how I would describe her skin. Bitch, please. Scrap the trailer park nails & buy some spackle.

mygeorgie, I feel your pain. I work with a supervisor who sports long thick acrylic nails with purple sparkles embedded in the acrylic. How does she expect people to take her seriously with purple sparkle spackled nails? And, she's no spring chicken, either!

All I gotta say is, most times when people do & say stupid sh*t like this & put themselves up high & others down = INSECURITY.
This is quite a coincidence, yesterday I was listening to a years old recording of Loveline where she was a guest and she talked about sitting on the bathroom floor applying make up - like that was where she always applies her make up. The more I hear outta her the more I dislike her. What a fucking ridiculous lie to tell.
Oh and SCat07 I read that article earlier, really put me off her! If that was me I would wipe her out in the damn hallway with my shoulder, fuck being intimidated like that.
If it's even close to true, what a travesty! The damage I could do at Sephora with money like that! *sigh*
