Meg Ryan took her daughter for a walk in NYC.
Kelly Rutherford flew to France to see her kids.
Amanda Peet flew back to LAX with her two kids.
Adam Sandler and his wife took their two kids to the Malibu Fair.
Even Tobey Maguire got up from the poker tables long enough to spend time with his kids.

How come the bacon kids dont look anything like rheir parents?
I have a hard time accepting that the Bacon kids are so big/old. I know that Kevin and Kyra have been together forever, but they still have a somewhat young vibe about them. Goodness, their son looks like he's 30 in that picture.

Sozy, Kyra's daughter, was in an arc a couple of a seasons ago of The Closer. But Enty's right, bravo you never see their kids much. I know - I can't believe how old the son looks!

I don't blame the Bacon-Sandwiches, I mean, the Bacon-Sedgwickes for keeping thier kids out of the spotlight. As a kid, I coukd not have handled being papped or stalked.

Today is the first day of university and where I come from, this week is known as Frosh Week. All the first year students are out and being all young and full of optimism and all sorts of other annoying things like that. I had to pass tons of them this morning on my walk to work as they are out collecting money for cystic fibrosis (Shine-o-rama). All the girls were dressed like Richie Sambora's daughter.
I don't give a shit about celebrity kids.

ava's short are what all the 13/4 year old girls want to wear. horrible look. i have yet to see anyone eear them and look good, but its what they all want to wear. remember that girl hugging justin beiber the other day (probably not, since there are pictures like that everyday)? she was wearing that as well. its the "look what i got!" look.
Amanda Peet was likely in the UK for GAME OF THRONES production! SO JEALOUS! She has said it's her crack.
Kyra & Kevin's kids are in college, and they have done a great job of allowing them a real life.
The only thing I don't get about the Bacon kids is how are they both wound up brunette with 2 blonde parents? At first I thought the Kyra pic was Goldie Hawn I was like 'HOLY SHIT she is looking hott!' lol good pic of Kyra tho.
I was also quite surprised at what the Bacon kids look like. The very dark hair on both kids really threw me off. Sadly, I have to agree that the son does bear a passing resemblance to Greasy Bear.

Those short shorts may be what the kids WANT to wear, but in my house, they are not what they wear. My 12 and 16 year old girls wear shorts that actually cover their asses.
Frufra, I've just been working on a Tobey Maguire comment along the lines of "If Tobey Maguire can play a straight, leading man, Matt Bomer can, too."
Used to love me some Richie...but not anymore...Ava's shorts are too short and that is the style...not that I would let my daughter wear it though, btw...I hate the name of his clothing line White Trash Beautiful...it just sets my teeth on edge.
The Sedgewick/Bacon kids seem like normal kids...good for them and the parents too :)

I have read them, I was majorly obsessed and read them all in 3 months! So I do know what happens and its so mindblowing and fantastic but I think they are splitting book 3 into 2 seasons so I am curious as to what they will have in the first part and what they take out.

I love that the French paps blur the kids' faces. I miss the days when celeb kids were off limits.
Ava's shorts are TOO fucking short. She might as well wear a fucking bikini bottom, and call them pants. I know all the girls are wearing them now, but it's crap, and so many girls who wear them are the one's who SHOULDN'T.

How many women here changed after they left home so their parents didn't see what they were wearing? I'm sure it wasn't just me. I live in a cold climate where I'd also hide my winter boots under the porch and venture out in dress shoes in January like a fucking idiot.
The girls all wear short shorts. I wore them back in the day. I don't wear shorts that short but I wear shorts because (in my opinion, I could be wrong), my legs are still good. Walking to work today, I saw girls that looked great and girls that shouldn't wear the short shorts. But I think I'm supposed to applaud their confidence???

I remember I snuck out of the house in some REALLY short terry cloth shorts when I was about 15. Remember terry cloth shorts? Yeah. It was 1978.
Anyway, my Dad saw me somewhere and saw that my butt cheeks were literally hanging out...oh boy, was I in trouble! haha But I wasn't a slutty kid or anything, it was just the fashion at the time.
