Blind Item #5
This approaching A list mostly television comedic actor on a network comedy is never seen with women. He never talks about women either. When he has something with family he brings home a woman who has been his friend forever. The rest of the time he spends with a very long term boyfriend. He is very good at keeping this secret and most of his friends are loyal about keeping it quiet too.

Donald Glover?
Aziz Ansari?
I thought of Josh Radnor from How I Met Your Mother. Not one mention of a girlfriend, ever.
His family is conservative Jewish, so that could explain why he isn't out.
Nick Offerman? Aziz Ansari?
Funny, Donald Glover was the first one who came to my mind too. But he does more than just acting ... hmm.
Nix Josh Radnor, found this about him and his girlfriend splitting. http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/josh-radnor-splits-with-girlfriend-julia-jones-twilight-actress-201312 - it also says he dated Lindsay Price
Isn't Nic married to Karen from Will & Grace?
@ Cathy: Nick Offerman is married to Megan Mullaly.
Jim Parson from The Big Bang Theory popped into my head.
Jim just came out though. One of the New Girl guys?
@mr. ray Jim Parsons "came out" in a NY Times profile last year. I put it in quotes because they mention it in passing. He didn't give an official announcement or anything, but he's not hiding it. I suppose it could still be him though...
isn't Donald Clover Married and expecting a kid.
False Alert Wrong persomn. I thought Donald Clover was Donald Faison.lol
wrong donald
I thought about Ed Helms but he's been in enough movies that I don't think he'd be "television mostly" at this point.
He used to be engaged to an actress. if I remember her name, I'll come back and post it.
There really aren't many clues in this as far as the show goes. I quickly looked up the guys from New Girl and 2 are married. I thought someone on Big Bang but one is gay, the other is married, the other dated his co-star, and the other isn't a big enough star.
Parsons is out, and has openly talked about his partner. He also is turning 40, which shocked the hell out of me. He looks so young!
Jim is out, isn't he? I dunno for sure. I have heard that he is gay, via a mutual friend of ours.
For New Girl, Max Greenfield and Jake Johnson are married. Not sure about Lamorne, but he seems to be in the background.
Network comedies: Community (Joel is married or was, Donald isn't just an actor, Danny is married with kids), Parks (Aziz, Adam Chris Nick and Rob are married), HIMYM (all ruled out, Jason is with Michelle Williams), Happy Endings (p. sure Adam Pally is married....Zach Knighton??)
Other shows: Ben & Kate, Glee, Raising Hope, new Normal, Big Bang, 1600 Penn
There are obviously more.
Johnny Galecki? I know he and Kaley Cuoco supposedly dated, but there was never an acknowledgement of it until after they broke up, err, "broke up".
Seth McFarlane? I know he's worth a hundred million, but he's never really been "A List" in the way I would consider, say, Seinfeld. Yes, I remember the sighting of him and Emilia Clarke but I'm not convinced. This does mention "family"...
Why are we trying to out someone? Not guessing.
Seth dated Elisa Dushku for awhile too. He has been seen with a few women.
Seth was also seem with khaleesi from game of thrones not too long ago.
Seth was together with Amanda Bynes for a time, and he's currently dating Emilia Clarke. Don't think it's him!
Donald Glover popped into my head too, but I don't think it's him either - maybe he hasn't mentioned any women in interviews and such, but listen to his music and he talks plenty about women.
Yes Donald glover like Asian girls lol.....according to his rap songs
Donald Glover talks about women all the time (especially asian women) in his raps. He's Childish Gambino.
lol jinx @noseygal48 and @AliasFan4Lyfe!
what about Seth Meyers on SNL?
Who cares. Good for the person.
What a shame he can't be himself with his family or his career.
Comedic TV actors approaching A-list:
Joel McHale - married with kids, references them in interviews
Donald Gloverr - aka Childish Gambino, getting lots of kudos for his music so unlikely to be him
Max Greenfield - married with kids, references them in interviews
Jake Johnson - married, probably not approaching A-list at this point
Jim Parsons- already publicly out
Jason Segel - in a relationship with Michelle Williams, TV and movies
Neil Patrick Harris - clearly already A-list, out and also into Broadway
Josh Radnor - I don't think he's approaching A-list. HIMYM has been on for 8 years & he's still not there. Permanently B. and he's also a movie writer/director.
Jack McBrayer - also movie actor
Angus T Jones - possibly?
Adam Scott - married with kids, also a movie actor
Chris Pratt - married to Anna Faris with a kid
Nick Offerman - married to Megan Mullaly
John Krazinski - married to Emily Blunt, also does movies
Patrick Wharburton - I know nothing about the guy's private life
Will Arnett - clearly not
Could also be people on Happy Endings, Raising Hope, but I don't know who anyone on those shows are except Damon Wayans Jr, and I know nothing about him.
So I guess I'm putting forward Angus T Jones.
I think Patrick Wharburton has been married for something like 20 yrs.
Wow @polly, talk about research lol
Not Aziz -- I saw his stand-up and he talks openly about dating and sleeping with women.
What about jack mcbrayer? No mention on sexuality or significant other on wiki.
josh radnor
This is probably a reach, but what about Alan Tudyk? He's on Suburgatory, and has had a long list of mostly television credits, including Firefly. There is also no mention in the press of a girlfriend or wife at all.
Otherwise, I've got nothing. None of the guys I would consider A-list on network comedies fit, otherwise.
Zach Knighton, according to Wikipedia is married with a child, so it's not him. I like the Jack Mc Brayer guess. No matter who it is...if he wants to keep his personal life private, then good for him!
Lindsay Price
I like the Jack McBrayer guess, however he already seems gay to me, so it would surprise me for him to go to these lengths to hide it.
TOTALLY Darren Criss
Mostly TV because he's supposed to be in Imogene with Kristen Wiig this summer
Jack McBrayer is a good guess. I think Angus Jones is too young and in that christian cult thing.
Seth Meyers is dating Alexi Ashe and has been for a while. He also dated Rashida Jones years ago. Jack McBrayer is a good guess, I'm pretty sure he's gay? But is he really close to A List?
Another reason it could be Jack McB: it says "whenever he has something with family he brings home a woman.." Jack is from Georgia, and it is very common here in the South for people to be very closed-minded about gay people.
I think it's Ed Helms because he is well-known for keeping his home life and family private.
Jim Parsons has been out to his family and friends for a long time. Years.
He talks about dating woman in his stand up
He talks about dating woman in his stand up
I heard about Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco way before they broke up, just thought they wanted to keep it private.
Doesn't mean it's not him though.
Yes, Jim Parsons is out.
Pretty embarrassing that it was all off the top of my head. I need to find a new hobby.
The Christian cult thing actually gave it a bit more weight for me, but I do agree he's probably too young. I'm out of ideas.
Johnny Galecki, he cruised me in a gym in the valley a few years back. This was before Big Bang Theory. I thought it was funny the kid from Roseanne was cruising me. No I did not.
Polly, if we ever cross paths, I will force you to be on my team for pop culture trivia at the bar. You rock!
I now know about 300x as much about the sitcom men & their relationship status than I eer expected to - mostly thanks to @Polly who ruled there!
But not going to even guess at one where it's about outing someone who clearly chooses not to be out.
I honestly have absolutely no clue who Jack McBrayer is, so I doubt someone is almost A list when a gossip slut like myself has never even heard the name before.
Nathan Fillion? I know nothing of his personal life, don't ever hear about it. Even though he isn't currently in a "sitcom" his character on "Castle" definitely has a comedic bent, as did his character on "Firefly."
Just a guess, 'cause I got nothing else!
Definitely not Aziz! Know him personally from SC. He's straight. Awkward - so, so, so awkward - but straight.
Pop culture trivia in bars is about all I'm good for. Deal.
Nathan Fillion was in a long term relationship with Vanessa Marcil, and has show up at events with differnt women so probably not this BI.
Are you a guy? Always thought Johnny was straight but dh swears he's gay.
Eric Stonestreet?
