One of my favorite people in the world (B list mostly television actress who used to be on a very very hit show) who told me five years ago she wasn't going to give me any more tips caved in because she said she was pretty upset about what she saw and doesn't like one of the people involved anyway so it felt good to share.
My actress friend was visiting another friend on a studio lot and ended up cutting through some trailers parked between two of the stages and saw two co-stars from a very hit network show practically having sex against one of the trailers. The thing that made her spill to me is that each of the co-stars is married and each pretends they have the happiest marriage that ever existed on the planet. If it wasn't for the hit show you might not really know them but because of it they are everywhere.

I don't think any of the guys on HIMYM are married, so not Alyson Hannigan.
NPH is married to David Burka, isn't he? I'm wondering if it's him and Cobie actually.

You really don't hear much about cobie's marriage though. Nph for sure is constantly bragging about his fiancée. But cobie is pretty quiet about her personal life. Yes, she gave a few interviews when she had her kid, but that's about it.
I'll throw out Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell. (They may hate each other for all I know.)

For some reason, I guessed Lisa Kudrow as the informant. I just saw "very very hit" and went with Friends?
Not Scandal - Kerry doesn't talk about her marriage at all. Is Grey's still a hit?

The Good Wife is filmed in NYC. The studio where it is filmed doesn't really have a parking lot with trailers. They have dressing rooms inside.
I mean, it's just a horrid warehouse near a water purification plant next to a place where they compact various kinds of rubbish. Not a place you'd have sex outdoors, seriously. You have to hold your nose sometimes to get to the sound stage.

I immediately thought Modern Family but I don't really watch much TV.
Monogamy is overrated and un-realistic.
Enty hinted he was friends with the awesome Jurnee Smollett before, and she has been in a lot of TV series lately.
Rashida Jones gets some regular praise here, and she was on The Office.
Sandra Oh. Enty fudged the "used to be" because she is leaving, and that would make it too easy.
She was the reason this site had all the best GA blinds and was the reason this site was the first to break the news that TR Knight was leaving.
If you go back to November 29, 2006 you find a post on this blog where Enty says she is a friend.
Annie Parisse and Shawn Ashmore from the Following? (Totally random guess, based on show ranking, marital status of both, and the fact that I would have no idea who either of them were if I was trapped in an elevator with them.)

The Following shoots at Steiner. More possible for there to be trailers in that studio parking lot than for Good Wife. Plus, it doesn't stink. ;-)

Those are the only ones I can think of now.
The informant totally could be Rashida, but I get the feeling from the way he described her that it's someone who WAS on a hit show, not someone who is still on one.
But if it is Rashida, she is friends with Zooey Deschanel (and therefore might be visiting her). New Girl is filmed on the Fox Studios lot, and upon further research the interior shots of Modern Family are also filmed on the Fox Studios lot. Both Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell have made multiple comments about having happy family lives.
Not that this is the correct answer, because Rashida is friends with a ton of people in the business.
