How many diets have you been on in the past year?

the spiced Captain & diet coke one.
Paleo and it's been great.
Just like Jessica Alba, apparently.
Hey Dragon! How are ya feeling?
I don't "diet" anymore, but I know when to start cutting back and making better choices when I feel bloaty. Which is now. Totally feasted over the holidays. But I will never diet again. Never.
none, diet's don't work
@Ray & @Dragon
Shit! Enough to screw up my stomach! Now I'm on a completely bland diet, no coffee, soft drinks, spicy peppers, low salt, NO ALCOHOL!, no dairy, no broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, no pizza, per doctors orders. I swear to God I'm gonna go crazy!!
So, children, learn from me, don't try too many diets, or you'll start running with scissors threatening children.
Hey Dragon, read about your job loss. Good juju sent your way. Sorry, but that does NOT include dicks 'n waffles. :)
OT there is now a he's a homewrecker.com and it is just so good. There's a cop from a city over on there ( it's widely believed he got away with murder a couple years back) and there's so many people just goin in on him. It's awesome
None. Don't believe in dieting. Everything in moderation and plenty of exercise. Works for me. Smug. Smug. Smug.
Sorry bout the job boo. Im in a similar boat, good luck to you!
@runningwithscissors. :(
I feel your boring pain.
None, don't need it. Good genes and living a lifestyle conducive to staying in shape. Diets are a bad idea. The best advice I could give is start off slow until you have a healthy balanced diet. Have a cheat day once a month when you can chow down on all the bad shit or have small quantities of the bad shit once a week. Like half a candy bar on Saturday. Diet is essential if you are trying to lose or maintain.But without any form of exercise its a losing battle. I read on celebitchy some exerpts from cameron diaz on how she cooks and her advice on exercise. She has the same approach to food and exercise as me. Her advice to people who don't want to exercise is to incorporate it into your daily routine. Do leg lifts while you are cooking. Squats while your favorite show is on commercial. Etcetera. Its excellent advice for those who live a sedentary lifestyle. I dont get how people dont like exercising though but thats just me.
Lol @ dicks and waffles.. Good one, Dragon.
Wanna join me with chamomile tea?
Good news is I should probably drop some pounds with all the restrictions.
BTW, here's what ruined my stomach: Chinese medicine (powder three times a day, dry, followed with a glass of water), apple vinegar with water (health benefits), black coffee (antioxidant benefits), so on and so forth because of their "health benefits". BS, it all only screwed up my stomach.
@Sugar. I'm good and you. Thanks
@meenie Thanks. Damn I thought it would =p
@ray Sucks right. Well get there. Good lucks to you too.
Eso: Lol
@scissors - black coffee and vinegar and some dodgy herbs!! It's no surprise your stomach suffered!
I'll stick with my PG Tips tea thanks all the same.
Low carb and lost 9 pounds that wouldn't move any other way. Now if I could just make myself actually get ON the Pilates machine I bought....
I loooove PG tips!!! That's my favorite cup'a. Doctor said no black teas but he's exaggerating, I cannot give up my cup'a.
Zero. I gave that shit up. I subscribe to Popeye philosophy:I yam what I yam .
I did Dukan last year and it worked great. I am still doing low carb and right now trying to decrease the protein and increase veg and fat.
Red wine & chocolate.
If anyone is interested, I frequent this site daily and have been doing an amazing program for a year. I've lost 40 pounds and 18% body fat and my dad lost 50 pounds doing it. Message me for more info: jaymecampbell9@gmail.com
I did a 3 week cleanse in November, the good kind, where you eat good stuff and no bad. Not hard really. I still gained 10 lbs over the fall/winter, so once I'm over this cold, I'll do it again. Not for vanity, to feel good. I had the worst hangover in a decade in Nov, swore off Argentinian wine, it's full of chems. Binged on cmas baking and booze, with a side of holiday shame.
None. I want to be a local Chris Christie without bridges.
I was using the Lose It! app for a few months this year. I liked it a lot, but I fell off the wagon and never went back. I am considering trying it again.
It's not really the eating that gets me, but the exercise. I hate exercising in front of people, and I am rarely somewhere that I am alone.
Twice, just a couple of weeks each to get myself back on track when I realized I had been eating nothing but junk for a while. I'm generally healthy, but sometimes the convenience of fast food lures me in.
@seven LOL
Too many. I start a new one every week. I lost 50 lbs a few years ago and put it all back on. I actually bordered on anorexia so im really about 30-35 lbs heavy. I crave breads and pastas but not sweets. I hate myself for being unable to control the sugar cravings. I do exercise and love the gym. I'm in a daily battle with myself and it causes me to be depressed every single day. My husband thinks I'm the hottest thing on the planet. But as I tell him, without his glasses he's legally blind!
Just one; I've been on it since I was about 14 and I break it at least six nights a week...
Closest I come to a diet is drinking lite beer.
