Maybe now Lake Bell can get a job.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about voiceover artists and long lifespans? Don Pardo is 96 and he's still working. I guess they don't have to do stunts.
ReplyDeleteWow, he had a great run.

ReplyDeleteTruly awesome man, he will be missed dearly.
ReplyDeleteI worked with Hal for about 3 years when I worked in the Voice Over Department at the agency that represented him (CED back then). He was a great guy, very busy and all business. Rarely needed to do a second take and booked solid everyday. When he vacationed in Europe, the ad agencies and trailer companies once a week would rent a studio in London or Paris and he'd fly in to do a full day of work.
ReplyDeleteGreat story, Julie, thanks for sharing. RIP, Hal
