This B- list mostly movie actress with A list name recognition recently terminated a pregnancy because she thought the public would hate her if she announced she was pregnant with a guy, who is not her (still) husband.

    I should stop being puzzled by all these folks who don't seem to understand how to avoid inconvenient pregnancies, shouldn't I? I'm wasting precious brain cells trying to figure out why a huge chunk of a comparatively well-off segment of society simply won't use any birth control method AT ALL.

    If it was Goop, I can see her terminating a pregnancy, not despite of the previous miscarriage, but because of it. It sounds like it was physically and emotionally traumatic and maybe she just doesn't want to risk that, or has medical reasons for it.

    And even if she doesn't - @Violet, any reason a woman has for ending a pregnancy is her business.

    Ashley Judd's divorce is dragging out (announced January 2013). Partly due to her greediness over his assets which far exceed hers, partly due to his really bad IndyCar accident last October (bad concussion, memory issues, focusing on his recovery).

    But at 46 she couldn't conceive naturally even if she were still fertile anymore, which rumor - and a previous blind on another site - is that she is infertile due to previous ... stuff.
