Blind Items Revealed

March 11, 2014

This former celebrity turned reality star turned celebrity turned host was with her husband shopping for rings yesterday and told her husband that she wouldn't feel comfortable wearing something that costs less than six figures because people would whisper. This guy has no idea what he is in for.

What people? Does anyone actually care about her?

Ahhh March 11, I remember Ye fondly. Red velvet cake recipes and Derek's swan dive into the google circle k hole.

This guy is an idiot.

And where does she get invited now that anyone looks at her ring? All she has to say (if she had a functioning brain) is that the stone was handed down in the family or it was his great aunt Liddy's ring or some crap like that. She might want those six figure $$ in the settlement.
As if people haven't been whispering for years.

I have to agree with her, it really is a burden wearing these rings that cheapskate Mr V bought me. The pitying looks that people give me makes me think we might have to move far away to escape the embarrassment every time I leave the house :(

There was another blind about her,,,I can't remember what it was though, which is obviously a lot of help,

I am sure they ooh and aah at Starbucks.

DeBeers has really pulled off one of the great scams of all time with that diamond stuff.

I think the guy knows exactly what he paid for.

Was it chocolate or blueberries diamond? ?

Maybe he just likes her legs wrapped around his neck while he is getting her pregnant.

I think that's the whole idea. She'll get the ring in the settlement and that caliber of jewelry appreciates in value rather quickly. She's not idiot. She's already planning her escape by accumulating assets. Jewelry is quite portable and easily liquidated. Just ask Ellen Barkin.

The bigger the blood diamond, the more they love you!

Can she fade away into obscurity already? I'm still pissed she was a guest judge on Project Runaway.

That she was still having sex with a boyfriend that was not her husband.

Gold diggers should do what any good jewelry investor does, like the Windsors (and they know their jewels better than anyone) invest in quality sapphires and rubies.

She might not be all that smart. "Some" men actually start to smell a whore in their bed, she needs to play it dumure (like she likes him for him and the ring doesn't matter) so he'll think she's queen of the whores and he's changed the biggest whote ever. Then he's gonna make her real proud.

...not that I've given it much thought before.

Agreed Nutty. It's all perpetuated by their marketing dept. 2 months salary my ass.

And guess what Writergirl: Engagement rings rarely sell for the same price you paid for them. Ask any guy who cancelled an engagement. IF she were Liz Taylor it would be one thing but she ain't gonna get anywhere near what he paid for it. Still 6 figures is still a good pay out.

Your engagement ring from Kays Jewelers or Zales is one thing. A six figure ring from Cartier or Harry Winston is in a whole different ball game. She is definitely NOT going to Jared!

I dont care about anyone's ring but really, celebs cant win in this area. If its too big its gaudy, too small its dinky, or she bought for herself, or she gave him the money for it. Who the f cares? I didnt even have an engagement ring and im fine, lol

This is bull. I know Stacy and she is one of the sweetest people in entertainment. I admit I haven't spoken to her in a long time, before Clooney and maybe he fucked her up but if it's regular Stacy there isn't an ounce of truth in this.

Say what you will about DeBeers but there's no denying that music was dram fab...

I find myself agreeing with Sprink all over the place today.

(Shhhh. Don't tell her. I don't want to sound creeperish)

She was also a popular guess for a recent one about a husband seeing the true nature of his new wife and waiting until after an upcoming "big event" to dump her because he wants out. This reveal makes those guesses seem likely to be correct.

I sold my ring after my divorce and it was worth probably $25,000 and I got less than 10% from it. I was so stupid to sell it, but didn't want it. Da dumb! So dumb. Dumb.

Call me weird, but I've never wanted a big honking rock you could practically skate on--I'm much more partial to low-profile (literally, as is "doesn't stick up too high") estate jewelry in silver-toned metals. After all, the symbolism is the same regardless of the size of the stone, and big stones just make you mugger bait, so why bother? (Perhaps this is why I'm still single?...)

Riven said...

@Robin oh god I read that as "cock" (as in you discussing your own) and it made your entire comment particularly hilarious. Especially the "still single" line.

I was in a relationship for 4 years and got tired of everyone around me was getting engaged, married and/or pregnant. I realized I just wanted a fancy ring (and not necessarily marriage to that guy), so I went out and bought one myself, and I wear it on the other hand. It's an old fashioned style engagement ring but the center stone is a pink saphire. 5 years later the partner is gone but my ring is still preeeeeeetty.

That being said, I've since educated myself on the diamond industry and decided I will never wear of own another one - unless it's one of those Canadian ones.

Wow, I hope it comes with certificate of authenticity, and a photo of the kid whose arm was cut off when mommy and daddy didn't mine enough rocks that day!

Another reason why she wasn't signed on as Mrs. Clooney.

I still find it kinda amusing that's she's all but disowned her wrestling past

Aren't they already married? Why would he blow that kind of money on her now? If she was fine getting pregnant and married without some big assed ring, what has suddenly changed? Buy her a wedding band and save the $$$ for something you can actually use. Engagement/ wedding rings, wedding dresses and the wedding itself are such a fucking racket. Why the hell do you need to spend that kind of money on a one day event? A dress you wear once and a piece of jewelry that is only "worth" that much because a group of jewelers got together and decided to charge people that much for a fucking ROCK! I love me some jewelry but there's no way I'd spend money like that on one damn ring. That's nuts. My wedding ring came from Africa. It's a hammered silver Tuareg marriage ring and it cost under $50.00 and it's way cooler than some boring ass diamond. Then again my ring means more to me than a financial divorce investment. All these Hollywood slags think they're Elizabeth Taylor and their husband is gonna bankrupt himself showering them with diamonds. I remember when Demi and Bruce were married and she fancied herself some elite Hollywood diva. All she talked about was how many carats her latest piece of jewelry from Bruce was. Maybe that is why Bruce decided not to stick around. Yeah I think Kiebler's new husband should stick with a plain wedding band. What's she gonna do? Divorce him?

What a Bitch. If that was me I would make her walk for saying something like that. Guess what. People that publically disclose what they spent on their engagement ring are starving for attention. Guess also what? Only a trained gemologist would be able to tell the difference between a 100k diamond and a 10k diamond from the distance people would see it. A 100k diamond isn't 10 times the size of a 10k one. It could be as little as 2x if the 100k one happens to be flawless. But nobody can tell the difference between VVS and SI without a loop. What is she going to go around with a loop telling everyone to look deep into her diamond and try to see inclusions? Then also weigh her diamond, color and cut grade it, and then consult the current diamond market prices to figure out what she spent on it? Fuck buy a 25k one and tell people it was 100k they would never know!
