When I won my Oscar...
When I was adopted probably. My life would have been shit otherwise.
The day I die
The day I discovered CDAN and e-met some of the funniest people in the world.
So what's the verdict TTM (I need saving from my smutty romance novel)?
Stop sucking up @Freya :)
The day I got married.
Freya needs to get out more often...LOL! (Love ya grrrl)
my prom, I wore my class ring
You should a write it down and publish it in some form. Blog, book, etc.
The day my pic showed up in the reader photos and one person said I was pretty
This is a weird answer - heart-wise, the greatest moments of my life have been times spent with family, friends, furbabies, rescuing furbabies, etc. Those are the greatest moments. All the simple pleasures. But in terms of how it's intended here, an "I'm on top of the world!" sort of moment... it would have to be the first time I sang the game-opening National Anthem for the Dodgers. I was 18, I had first dreamed of doing it when I was 16. It was one of those moments when, as you're achieving a wish, dream, or goal, that you experience a feeling of true possibility and magic, & feel a little bit invincible.
The day I got married (the 2nd husband). Although the day I won $5600.00 playing bingo is a close 2nd.
Sooooooo cool!!!!!!!!!! What an achievement!!!!! *awe*
Uhoh...
2nd marriage and babies. Also in future when I graduate at my University.
Sherry, your speech was pretty moving.
My english isn't good enough to describe that moment of Spring 1990. All I can write is:
I fell in love with the perfect woman. And she loved me back.
@Riven
I'm so sorry to hear that :-(
Hugs.
Knowing that the one thought I was the one too.
The day I married WahooHubby :)
3.
1- the day I stood up for my self and told a guy I was not gonna continue being his booty call (let it happen twice only) and told him I was looking for a relationship and he was not it. He begged to change my mind! Felt so good to say no!
2- the day I met my husband.
3- the day I kicked my mother out of my house for disrespecting my husband (he was not even in the room), she finally got the message I was not her baby and should respect me as an adult.
Birth of my daughter, now age 20. I still remember it so clearly. I can even remember the first moment she looked straight into my eyes. A total miracle.
Child, education, marriage... in that order, but other than that... certain moments when out in nature or ducked up dancing at a good show where you are free of worries and truly enjoying the moment
The day I turned 18. Psycho for a mother no longer had dominion over me.
Been happy ever since - and that's a looooong time.
Either when my brother was born or when I got my bachelor's.
I have two. Without a doubt when my boys were born. I had no idea it was possible to love someone as strongly as I did my first son. Apparently it is because I fell just as hard for son #2.
I've had too many to count. But the best days included family and just simple things, but I took the time to stop and think this is one of the best days of my life

Can I go with the obvious (for me) and say when the Saints won the Superbowl?
I seriously don't think my best day has happened yet. I have had many amazing days but I think the future holds a lot more for me.
@Riven, that broke my heart. Hugs to you.
When I really realized i didnt care what anyone else thought about what I said or did. Quite freeing. Of course I was 40, lol
My life journey thru the south pacific, new Zealand and the land down under.
I have two--the day I married my husband, followed very closely by the birth of the child I was told I had a less than 4% chance of conceiving. PTL for IVF!!!!
And hugs x a billiondy to Riven XO
The day I got married...oh wait. I've never been married.
The day I was able to fit into my skinny jeans. That was a great day.
1999
working behind the scene at a fashion show
l'wren scott produced
james king, ivanka trump,noemi lenore
the energy made me feel quite good. l'wren was quite eyecatching as one would imagine. first time id ever seen a a ten foot tall white woman with beautiful alabaster skin black hair and owning the room. first and last time i saw her in person, never talked to her but never forgot her she made an impression. i was sadden when she died.
TRUE STORY:
noemi was an unknown young model at the time. i was sitting in a big window having a cigarette. she sat on the other end with her walkman and she asked me what a certain tupac lyric meant. cant remember which. i kid u not.
Husband and kids of course but in hindsight I was raised in a ultra strict some what suffocating existence but got to go to Europe with my class when I was 16. Getting shitfaced at a gay bar in Zurich was pretty damn awesome. The police broke up our after party but no one was arrested. Good times.
The moment I realized that fear of failure was crippling me. Hello rest of my awesome life!
The day I scored 4 touchdowns in a single game!
My first 69. I'll never forget the sunny afternoon in the upstairs of my friend's shore house, when I had my nose nuzzled up to a hairless 19y/o bunghole. So tender and pale, it was the same color as the buttcheeks. I was young and timid and afraid of the reaction licking it would result in, so I kept my tongue to the vagina and clitoris, while basking in its beauty and aroma. Thank the good lord baby jeebus that I jack off to much to make a BJ an easy job, so I got to appreciate it for quite some time that day.
#2 would be 10yrs later, the day she moved out.
Me and my daughter traveling around Europe
The day I saw my now husband for the first time in 30 years.
Great story @fancyscreenname!
Ditto!!! But with daughters!
Love this! Congratulations!
Me too!!! I call it the "fuck 'em 40's".
Riven: Your story is lovely.
Yours was moving as well Count.
Cool,Fancy!
Kristen, thank you. I meant it from the heart except for the agent part. I hated that bitch and it was my ticket to break free.
Of course everyone knows I never won an Oscar. Thanks for playing along.
Best moment would be when I met the Opster. After all these years he's still the best. I adore him madly.

I love my husband and kids, and I've seen the Pyramids, but the greatest moment of my life was when I got 700's on the SAT's. I was recruited by most Ivy League colleges and chose Columbia.
PS. I should add that I grew up lower-middle-class and my Dad worked in a factory. I went on full scholarship.
Hugs Riven. That's so special. Totally write that down for future generations.
Even though my first wedding was huge and I looked damn good if I can say so now...My 2nd wedding was so much more emotional and beautiful, birth of my babies, my kids first smiles, anytime a migraine finally goes away, on stage at THE $ym&n was way more emotional than expected bc of the history. Don't wanna name it SEO and all...
Count, yours is from your special place and I can tell you wrote it with passion. It's good to have hobbies. Were u married to ur special first?
@Countess: No, not married. Engaged for a few years until I gave up. A week later she split.
Mine is the day my daughter was released from the NICU & got to come home. (It was also my most terrifying moment, but in a good way.)
That's terrific Trilby. Is there a YouTube of it out there? One of my best moments was when I sang "Desperado" and the bar stopped to listen. I nailed Linda's high note and was respected thereafter amongst the group. I was never the popular girl but felt like it then.
@JackDucky - love your comment. I hope my oldest son feels the same one day.
Best moment of my life was the 1st night I stayed up with my baby boy ( 3 1/2 months old) who I adopted from Ethiopia. We were still in Ethiopia, and I remember sitting in the guest house, feeding, rocking & holding him and talking to him about all the amazing things he might do in his life.
Although he's currently in his room for being, well 4, he's a pretty extraordinary kid and I love him with all my heart.
Awesome stories @ fancy!
Birth of my children and being told I am breast cancer free!
And running the bases at Safeco field at Seattle Mariners Fan day with a picture of my dad in my pocket. He had passed away one year earlier and was a huge baseball fan. I would love to be able to do it at the Braves Stadium!
High five @ Turkish!
Well done! :)
Thank you Freya
Thank you Freya
This is cliché, but it was the birth of my daughter. She was the most beautiful and perfect thing I'd ever seen (still is), and she didn't even cry. She just looked around her, like, "WTF is this? Put me back in NOW!"
"It came true," @Sherry!
Haven't had it yet.
Among others, watching my daughter test for, and be awarded, her blackbelt. She sparred with guys a foot taller than her with such great energy and confidence, I was awed. She has so much to be proud of. And she's a truly nice kid.
Greatest moment?
The moment I gave thanks for having my dreams shattered because I just knew it would free me for better things to come.
Which it did.
4 times, the day each of my 4 kids were born. <3 <3 <3 <3
(the night I saw Alice in Chains for the first time was pretty awesome, too! But the 4 kids, nothing can ever beat those 4 days :D )
When I survived an accident without harm
@Kat, if the people in your real life aren't telling you you're pretty, they have a serious problem.
Phone call on May 14, 1995. A voice-mail actually. Changed my life.
