The wife of this A+ list talk show host spent a week in a mental hospital this past summer after her husband was caught by a caretaker of their vacation home having sex with a woman in the marital bed. He had promised that he had stopped cheating except for his regular hookup.

I don't get why they don't just divorce. It's known to the world already that Lauer is a big cheating bastard, why not divorce him and take him to the cleaners?

Spending a week in a mental hospital for this type of thing can be easily avoided by reading gossip sites. Nothing shocks anymore. She won't be stunned, she'll take a deep breath, get some ice cream then realize that if another person is sleeping with that icky guy she isn't. Win.
I thought Letterman..has talked about the caretaker of his ranch before (i think that's where he got married)..dunno..
