This permanent A list singer/part-time actress/director might be one of the biggest stars on the planet but she won’t be invited back to this talk show after the cameras constantly had to shoot different angles of her and cut away from her because she wouldn’t stop texting on her phone even while being asked questions during the interview. When our singer wanted to hug after, the talk show host told her to f**k off.

So, disrespectful. I don't care who you are, or who you think you are. When I was being interviewed by a local TV Channel for a Las Vegas Commercial Real Estate story, I forgot to turn my phone off before the interview. As I was being interviewed, my phone chimed that I had a new message. I immediately apologized and turned the phone off. The news anchor/report thanked me and continued with the interview.

This is total bullshit. I watched the video of her interview with Gayle King on YouTube and there were just a couple different angles of her and no cutting away from her due to ... whatever. Besides, Barbra is a consummate professional. Everything HAS to be PERFECT, especially the camera angles. No way this happened.

She probably did it on purpose to force them to use angles she wanted...she likes to hide or minimize her nose, so requires she is shot certain ways only. She made Rosie O'Donnel change the set and put her desk on the opposite side it usually is on a day she was a guest on her show (O'Donnell had class and told the audience she wanted to try something new that day).

Gayle is such a terrible interviewer, and should thank her lucky star (Orpah!) that she was e'en given this opportunity. BarBRA is the OD (Original Diva), and should have been given access to Ms Orpah herself...
I know someone who worked with her once, and he said she was horrible to everyone. Very nasty. And he never said that about any of the the celebs he worked with, all very big names.
Not true. Barbra doesn't hug people,barely shakes hands,no way she wanted a hug.
@Penelope, precisely why this didn't happen. Barbra doesn't just leave things to chance, and doesn't need to 'force' camera men, let alone Rosie, to do what she wants. She'd have given them precise camera angle instructions to be carried out to the letter, or who needs you, forget the whole thing.
As if Gayle King, famewhore extraordinaire, would ever tell superstar Barbra Streisand to fuck off.
