What east coast Real Housewife who had a career before she became a reality star pulled the ‘don’t you know who I am’ card while at a department store after buying tons of designer duds. The cashier responded with “Yes I know damn well who you are, you don’t have to be such a b**ch though.”

I LOVE Kandi. Sounds like the cashier had her own issues. Hopefully this is not race related.
Maybe she was being rude to the clerk.
It sounds to me like something the retail worker thought of later in the shower or something.
I'm pretty sure you don't keep your job in an upscale store by calling a customer a bitch. I actually worked designer sportswear retail for a few years and no...this didn't happen.
I would have pulled a Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman and left with my nose up in the air!

That reflects more on you than Kandi. She's very talented and easily the most grounded and least arrogant of all the 'Housewives"- regardless of franchise.
