This A list singer/diva spent $35000 on wine in one night on herself. Three bottles in three hours none of which was priced lower than $10K. By that third bottle she could have probably been drinking Tickle Pink and would not have known the difference. She was drinking alone on a balcony of her hotel room. Hey, at least she had a nice view.

She has money and a lifestyle to share and she looked good when she was younger.
Nothing wrong with twist off caps on wine. And nothing wrong with boxed wine either. The vacuum sealed bag keeps the wine fresher longer then re-corking the bottle top.
And $10K wine doesn't mean it gets you drunk any quicker or tastes any better. You either like it or you don't.
And, I prefer ice in my wine. (So, there. I just disclosed that I am an uncouth wine connoisseur who will never, ever be friends with GOOP. (Not that I ever wanted to be.))
Oh, I also put ice in my shot of Jack Daniels, and any soda I have, even in my glass of water!
So, I truly must be white trash! :-)
New Zealand and Australia produce amazing wines and very rarely use cork due to environmental considerations. Screwcaps are the future, especially as we consider to drain our natural resources.
apologies @ sandybrook. I wrote that comment as if I were and enty-ern...I get that she has money and can go through the hired help because money is no object... And she doesn't look bad now, she just seems stuck in a time gone by. I was thinking maybe some one could be less of a "yes man" and talk to her about her legend teetering on those six inch spike heels. I just want her to pull it together and rock out the Vegas gig and expand. She does not have to be over....
Three bottles is a lot of vino for any one person. I'm not a big wine connoisseur so an $8 bottle of Yellow Tail Shiraz tastes good to me and gets the job done. I guess that makes me, comparatively, a cheap date.
Being alone has its challenges but it's better than being with a jerk. She's been there, done that and one hopes she'll do better the next time around. She must also be thinking about her part in the relationships as people tend to do. It takes forever to grow up. I'm older than her and I'm still not there yet.
I can only wish her the best of luck and advise her to keep the pipes in good form, since that's what she loves.
