Apparently they both have seen lawyers and now there just needs to be some kind of financial settlement. That is where the problem is because she wants an eight figure settlement. There was a prenup but this B- list now mostly movie actress is playing hardball with her husband who is a foreign born former A+ list mostly movie actor.

It's the "now mostly movie" part that sold me, Blake is far too arrogant to go back to tv. Everyone else has always been mostly movie.
Rachel was never mostly tv, and she was never both. She hasn't done tv since before The Mummy, and it was very little tv work regardless.
Melanie I'd argue has always been mostly movie or both, she was never predominately tv and then switched to movies.
Granted that Massachusetts is so superior to the entire rest of the United States that it seems like it must be a whole different country, it isn't.
So we're not talking about Ben Affleck.
@Riven-yes, agree with those points for sure. I read it (perhaps incorrectly or just to accustomed at times to Enty-ese(yikes), that she was "now B list movie actress" as opposed to being higher previously.
Ben was born in Berkley, CA...why do I know that?
As for the foreign born point- I don't know why it would be applied to the actor and not the actress, if both indeed, are foreign born. It reads, to me anyway, as an American actress with a foreign ex.
What's hanging me up is the reference to "she wants eight figures" - who's got that much for a divorce settlement, and to ask that much, kids have to be involved and a longer term marriage. Craig sure has that thanks to 007, but I don't picture Weisz asking for that, they have no children, and they've only been married a few years. Affleck isn't foreign-born but has the money and the marriage has three kids. Banderas - does he have enough for an 8-figure settlement?
What foreign-born former (emphasis on the "former") A+-List actor still has that much money (eight figures = $10,000,000+ folks), and the kids to justify it?
I don't suppose it could be Chris Hemsworth already. He's probably got that much because of Marvel but outside of Marvel he can't get traction, and he's foreign born. But then, so is she.
