Did she sing more than one song? If I ever knew (which I doubt), I've forgotten. It retrospect, it seems like she sang a song and went directly to reality with Lachey, followed by celebrity for its own sake, which involved some high-profile men & some unseemly escapades and selling shoes. Her song was her sex tape in my mind, I guess.

yeah---I agree Jessica could sing but I think something happened to her voice and she ended up faking it more in the studio etc---why does she never seem to sing any longer? I know she is rich with her fashion line but you would think she would bust out her vocal skills ONCE in a while. and NO way Ashlee is A list.
maybe...bur with Spice Girls etc there was no pretending to be A list. Thats why I guessed Jessica---her stupid reality show made her a household name but her record sales were never great.

Asslie had 3 top ten albums, 2 were #1 and a top single Pieces of Me and a few more top ten singles. So for awhile bitch was a top singer until she messed up on SNL.
