It is a good thing that there is no drug testing for steroids or HGH on movie sets or for production physicals because this former A+ list actor would be busted in a second. The actor, who will never, because of his own circumstances, reach A+ list again has a network of suppliers and some doctors that write him unneeded prescriptions.

He apologized and wants to be forgiven. I put some importance on that.
Yeah, he wants to be forgiven. He doesn't want to stop being a selfish jerk, though.
He didn't ask to be forgiven for being selfish or a jerk.
Mel is currently fending off accusations he threatened a News Ltd photographer at a suburban cinema in Sydney a week or 2 ago. Mel had turned up at the cinema with his current "young enough to be his grand daughter" date to watch a movie that was being held at a cinema that was, coincidentally, hosting the Israel Film Festival at the exact same time. Seems Mel was all "spittle in the face" with rage at being papped in such proximity to the Semites.
His wife divorced him just in time!
People don't take racism or domestic abuse seriously enough in this country.
Steroids would explain at least some of the creep's rage issues...
