God, I hope not. I like her as part of the ensemble but not as lead. She should be getting out soon anyway.

Good. She's too old looking for the role and a terrible actor. Easily the worst part of the ensemble. Get her off asap.
Months ago, I heard a rumor that both Taylor Schilling and Laura Prepon were going to be fired via their characters being killed off! AND, one of you posters blasted me as being inaccurate (nice way of saying I should: F** Off!)
So, the rumors are apparently true! And, my source did know what they were talking about!
The rumor was they were two of the most disliked characters on the show and that other show characters were actually carrying audience viewership.

That show can definitely live without Schilling.

Well I can't say I'm surprised...the new season barely has her in it and she's supposed to be the star of the show!
i dont think laura prepon's character is that bad. taylor schilling's is annoying, she shouldn't be killed off but she should get out of prison. killing both of them off seems drastic.
Show would be cancelled within a season without Piper. Also, this is from July? And she has been shooting religiously through now. But it says "about to be"? BULL SHIT.

Isn't it a collaboration of some of her experiences, but edited and written to be more interesting to keep viewers interested?
Well, if so, this lady upon whom the character is based is still alive.
That's definitely having something very loosely based on facts, since she's alive and advising.
