This A list mostly movie actress who is an Academy Award winner/nominee recently blew off a charity meet and greet. Several people had paid $10K to meet the actress and attend a premiere. They got to be at the premiere, but the actress said she had a headache. It didn't stop her from partying all night though.

JLaw must be a good actress. She acts like she is so approachable.
But, I've been hearing bad things about her for awhile now. She seems to have developed a FU style that will end up ruining her career because the fans will find some one else to admire.
Then, again, she is probably hit on more than one woman should be.
I'm so tired of jlaw..usually it takes years for me to be so apathetic about a celeb.
I'm not a fan of her films, but I think the attitude is probably down to getting bored of the fame game and having to get all dolled up regularly (she doesn't seem like a dressy gal during her down time).

Amy Schumer is really blah to me, and I really don't get all the worship she receives. I don't hate her, but I don't love her either. She's funny at times, but not a genius. I chalk it up to just being too old. (Me, not her.)
Was the 10k going to her or the studio or a charity. Was this a cash grab that the studio pushed on her last minute thats not in her contract because jlaw has hustled the shit out of this movie already. If it was for charity thats 1 thing if its a cash grab for greedy executives pushing their stsr on the treadmill to run faster idk...

Yeah, she's one of those people/events where I think I must have missed some huge memo explaining or justifying her enormous popularity. I felt the same way about Seinfeld & Letterman. The market saturation with her is really, really awful. You can't avoid her!
