While at a charity event this week, this newly divorced celebrity chef focused her attention on the under 25 male crowd. As is her custom lately she found two guys to go home with her instead of just one. This is becoming an almost weekly fetish of our chef.

Why is this a "fetish?" Guys that do this are looked @ as studs, but for a female it's a "fetish?" Entry, you need to learn what a fetish is & stop being so sexist. Grrr

Every time Giada's mentioned here or almost anywhere on the internet, someone (the same person?) pipes up and says "does anyone realize that her father raped her for years?" Someone certainly seems keen to spread that story but where does it come from?
Whatever happened in her life, as an adult and a parent it's her responsibility to seek treatment and deal with her childhood. It's not a "fuck everyone you want and cheat on your husband without consequence" pass.
No, of course it isn't a pass. It is a compulsive behavior that the medical community says is often sparked by sexual abuse.

The last time it was mentioned on this site, a couple of months ago, that Giada was an incest survivor I followed the link posted. It was an LA Times article from the early 1990's about a speaker for a fundraiser to a local rape crisis center. The speaker's background was given and it clearly matches Giada's. But.... it appears that she has a twin sister. The article didn't mention that they were both abused, but the rape survivor could be her non-celebrity sister.

The fact that she doesn't seem to be capable of sustaining a healthy relationship under any circumstances would seem to suggest a staggering amount of dysfunction brought about by her messed-up childhood. This is true of most sluts (male and female), by the way, not just Giada.

Like Back Again mentioned, it was an old LA Times story, from 1994 or 95, about a center for sexual assault survivors that was opening at the time. It didn't name her explicitly, but it did name her father. The girl in the story had been repeatedly raped by her father, who had also terrorized the rest of the family with his gun collection. It was quite sad, which is why I cut Giada a huge amount of slack.

Giada is probably the sexiest celebrity chef. There is a lot of jealousy at the food networks, which leads a lot of publicists to put out a lot of misinfo about the competition. Same thing with JLaw. If everything written about her were true, some of it would have come out by now.
