Her Money Monster film is in post production and she's supposed to start directing Charlie; not sure it she started it yet.
i guess i quibble with the 'openly gay' label for jodie foster. she never addressed it until a few years ago. that sounds more like someone who never hid it.
jodie likes to rock the boat and play around-she'll stay with her partner for years or forever but not stop cheating.
Bigelow isn't an actress, just a director.
Maybe we're thinking too narrowly. The way it is worded does imply the current movie is a directing project, but it could be an acting project; performing talent have assistants on movies. So it COULD be an actress who has done directing in the past but whose current production is an acting role.

No wonder Jodie's good friends with guys like Mel Gibson, James Woods and Robert Downey,jr. She seems like one of those women who emulates the worst of male behaviour.
