This former A- list mostly television actress who was on a long running tweener show back in the day before there was a term is speaking out. The no longer working actress says that this former A list television/movie actor who is rebooting one of his franchises regularly abused her and she wishes she said something when it happened.

She always goes with abusive assholes. She must have had an awful childhood. And it must have been hard for her to play happy go-lucky Lisa Turtle every week while dealing with her inner demons...

Lawrence is an asshole, just of a slightly different shade than Jared the Subway Guy - more of a Terrence Howard asshole.

I may joke around and post stupid stuff every now and then, but a lot of women are messed up because of some a--hole guy who showed little to no respect for them.
I have learned through my own daughter's struggles that when you invalidate a person you are actually being abusive.
Fortunately, my wife and I recognized early on that our daughter was selecting BF's who would invalidate her.
It's impossible to defend against this. You do the best you can to support her through good and bad.
Martin has mental issues too. Remember that breakdown he had back in the day.
There's something going on with her that doesn't seem all that right. She claimed to have lupus, then her own people came out and said that she didn't. She's married to a "music producer"/former gang member, but they live with her mom, who filed a restraining order against him.
Mother says he is psychotic and bipolar.

^ As a single parent, one of the things i did was to keep my love life out of my daughter's view. Statiscally, she was potential for teen pregnancy, juvenile delinquency, etc etc. But, we made it through all of those possible dangers and she's a working adult . Regardless of her age, I've always spoke of the realities of men and women. I totally feel for you. Somethings I've said have resonated with her.We'll see about the others. In the end, all you can do is be the family that she'll need no matter what.
Lark may have mental health issues but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. Tisha Campbell left the show because Martin sexually harassed her. I don't believe a lot on this site, but this sounds plausible.
But the question, David, is WHY she would be drawn to boys who would invalidate her in the first place. And why she would put up with it for more than three seconds in the second place. I think there are some things you and the wife still need to talk about...
His long-time costar on the show said the same thing (he harassed her after YEARS of working together- no respect).
