This permanent A+ list singer/former A list mostly movie actress/former director is notorious for ditching cabbies without paying for rides. Whenever she is confronted she always tells the cab drivers they should be grateful she was in their cab.

Yeah, that's why I think this is BS. Maybe this happened in the 60s, but no way would she be without her own driver/car in 2016.
Really Barbra! Can't believe someone hasn't insisted she pay up! They driving for a living not prestige.

My friend does work for musicians. Her longtime client was Kenny G and his wife, who live next door to Barbara. My friend was over when Barb stopped by unannounced and Kenny was freaking out bc everything must be perfect for her "entrance" like she was royalty.
I remember an interview James Brolin did about how he and Barbra went on a cross-country drive and stayed in motels. She had never done that before and she was thrilled and amazed that you could drive right up to the motel room door! He chuckled about it. So, yeah. I could she her not understanding cab protocol, since she's probably only ridden in one once in her entire life.
