I only know of this method-someone told me about
1) go to gravatar.com
2) sign in to your word press account or create your account at the top right of the home page
3) once youre in, you can set your pics and everytime you use the e-mail associated with your word press account on word press, the pic you chose will be your avatar
if you cant use that name maybe use "the real cinabun" etc-and just shout out it is you--and yeah trolling happens to the best of us--to be honest you dont stand-out as someone I was constantly interacting with so that is why I did not notice a difference but I do remember thinking "oh great now she is on the troll wagon now"
Anyways--good-luck and choose a pic that would be hard to find for anyone--I would recommend a profile but of your cat etc

Hope you figure out who is responsible Cinabun. God knows it happened to many decent posters here over time. What you may not realize if Ou are newer (but you say not)is that Derick is known as the biggest one of them, and even has trolled himself and used whatever name he probably thought of and (maybe didn't even dislike that person)in order to garner sympathy . Second to him is probably Malibuborebee who always went under different names on the old site and does the same here. They are pretty evident of late (especially on the big post of the day- the 1st one) . But as you say, we are adults and figure it out in our own time.
