This former A list mostly movie actor who was a superhero now makes his living primarily outside of the acting world. He loves it because he has a perfect built in excuse why his phone would be turned off while “working.” It allows him to be totally inaccessible and do what he wants and his wife is getting tired of it.

I hear is a consummate A$$HOLE...but, he is insanely good at poker. as in, full-time revenue poker player. some people are just that good
There was an underground poker thing Maguire,Ben Affleck and Leonardo DiCaprio were involved in. Maguire was apparently a first class a$$hole at these games.
His wife is in no position to be saying anything. How much does SHE brings a year?
She's a pretty well known jewelry designer so I'm going to assume she makes decent money.
Her daddy could buy and sell Tobey 100 times over. Make no mistake, when Jennifer decides she's had enough, he will tuck his tail between his legs and fall in line.

Her dad runs a studio. Why do you think he married her? She's not a looker by any means but everyone loves her because of WHO her dad is. Get on their bad side - no more acting roles.
Surely you're not implying that if a man is the breadwinner in a marriage that condones him being unfaithful?
His wife is extremely wealthy. Her dad is now the vice chairman of NBC Universal and used to be the president and CEO of Universal Studios- how do you think she ran in his circles and was able to meet him? He picked a rich girl, he doesn't even have to work. Her dad is the reason celebrities pretend to love her and buy her over-priced stuff.
And her daddy owns a movie studio, which is why Tobey married her.
Even with her father running a studio, Tobey never seems to work anymore....has he given up on acting?
