This A+ list mostly movie actor who is a multiple Academy Award winner/nominee and this A list comic actress barely spoke to each other while filming a recent movie. Apparently it was as bad as the filming between Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon back in the day.

I can see those personalities clashing.
He's a laid-back but no-nonsense perfectionist and she's a slightly brittle neurotic with self-esteem issues. And occasionally tiny hands.
I heard she was unbearable during the filming of Ghostbusters remake. She needs to chill with that before she ends up blacklisted or worse back on SNL lol
That film set must have been pure hell, considering the stars involved. Holy Moses!

I don't buy Damon as "laid back" but as insufferably arrogant with his recent pronouncements "Damonsplaining" how black people and gay actors should feel. Maybe he was lecturing her on how women should feel as he is an expert on everything.
I used to think Damon was a nice guy but between the Damonsplaining and his nasty comments about JLo and Garner, I think he's as big a pig as his pal Affleck.

Wiig is an idiot. She should be doing everything she can to ingratiate herself to those miles above her in rating and influence. He will still be a power player when her career is long finished.
If this is for The Martian, I don't see where they would have filmed together at all. Her parts took entirely on Earth and his were entirely on Mars and in space. They shared no scenes. Shakey's right, much ado about nothing. According to IMDB, Damon had 5 weeks of solo filming & didn't reunite with any of the cast until they were promoting it.

Damon only likes the ones who will sleep with him for a come up. Wiig doesn't need one. Neither of them are that great looking anyway.
The movie is Downsizing. The new Alexander Payne.
Both Jodie and Anthony said multiple times that they were scared from each oither. And they are good friends still.
No Etak, this is for Downsizing, they are shooting this these days. I wonder which side is on director Alexander Payne. I have a feeling not Kristen's...

I don't know about Damon,but I bet Jason Sudeikis, who is in this movie too was lobbying for her. He and Kristen are still good friends, Wiig is for example the godmother of his child with Olivia Wilde!
@Etak That's great :) some fantastic dry humor since, you know, he wasn't really filming on Mars. (Give it some time and they'll be a studio on Mars.)

When Damon was in Vegas at The Palms for the premiere of Oceans 11 he was pretty much a Diva!! Complaining about the heat, the air conditioning everything. DUH it's the desert!
this is the latest of several blinds about Wiig not working well with others, its going to impact her future career prospects if shes not careful
I can see how Wiig might be threatened by McCarthy, Jones & McKinnon (all much funnier & more relatable than she is). Damon can be an a-hole, but that's the general rule amongst Hollywood male stars. Wiig should tough it out or stick to writing & producing. She's never going to be America's Sweetheart, no matter what her PR people tell her.
