This B- list actor is a celebrity offspring of an A+ list couple. Both of the couple put their foot down when the offspring was going to shoot a scene on a new show which involved kissing another guy. The couple insisted the kissing could only be inferred. Kind of funny coming from this couple if you think about it.

He's shooting a new show called "To Get Down".

Yes he protested the same sex scene, or had it lessened quite a bit if I recall. It was one of (if not his first leading role as well)- he took a chance there. The original (play) was way different.
Will refused to film a scene kissing another man in "6 Degrees". Sounds like here, Jaden is all gung ho, and Will and Jada are saying no.
Jayden is an adult and doesn't need their approval. When he was a kid,they pretty much said anything goes, and now they put their foot down.
If this is Will Smith, he and Kevin James kissed in "Hitch."
Show is actually out on Netflix and is awesome. He's actually the weakest link in the cast but mostly because his story doesn't get interesting until the scenes they are talking about in the blind

Exactly!!! And what happened to Will Smith proudly claiming in interviews that Jaden doesn't care what anyone thinks? And how proud he is of that.
So, either Will is lying in interviews or this blind is definitely about someone else.

I almost commented him and Jada but I wasn't sure, I thought I heard that too but didn't know if I just made it up lol
I've seen all 6 episodes of "Part 1" of The Get Down and there is definitely a gay vibe with Jaden's character. Then there was a scene in a night-club type place where they were doing some sort of countdown (like the countdown to New Years) and at the end Jaden and some rando chick starting kissing. A blonde guy comes up to Jaden and pulls him away. Jaden says sorry to the guy (for kissing a girl) and then the guy simply says "My turn". They don't kiss but they do hold hands.
