This B+ list mostly television actor and his out of work actress girlfriend got into an argument with some paps who were trying to photograph what the actress is trying to pass off as her service dog. Why she needs a service dog is beyond me. They talked their way into getting the dog on board an airplane with the dog though.

Even if you have the Service Animal Papers showing the registration, and the animal is wearing the service vest, the business/entity can refuse you.
So, it's best to check before embarking on that journey.
(My daughter has a service dog; and mostly, she is allowed to have him accompany her.)

Actually, it is illegal to deny the service animal access to a public area if the person can explain what the service animal does.
I work in transit and people are not supposed to bring their animals on the train outside of a carrier UNLESS they are a service animal AND the person can explain what legitimate service they provide. Beyond that, we are not allow to question them or deny access unless the animal is misbehaving or presenting a threat to others.
We have so little leeway to question it that it just ends up not getting questioned much. As a result we have people bringing their pitbulls, teacup dogs, Staffordshires, what have you on the train. The dogs will lie on the floor and lick it, and lick up all the unwashed, disgusting residue (much of it human waste) that exists on subway floors. And I end up imagining future vet visits for said dogs.
My cat is a service animal for PTSD & depression. I carry all of her paperwork with me and have never had a problem. She also is trained to sit on my lap. She's a pretty white long-haired cat so usually people want to pet her. Please do not pet service animals. They are providing a service. It'd be like petting a doctor or a counselor.
It violates the ADA to turn away anyone with a service animal and it's another violation to ask why they need a service animal. Not all places ask for the certificate/license but some do, which is the only thing allowed. Once that's proven, nobody can say a damn thing to that person and it's dickish to do so, let alone illegal.
I see more about Nikki Reed here than every other celebrity/gossip site I visit combined, doubled, and multiplied by 10.
They're so self absorbed/righteous and work for ulterior motives. Nikki Reed never gave a shit about animals or the environment before she set her sights on Somerhalder and the headlines he could get. Speaking of him, are we going to keep pretending like this guy isn't a creepy, aging teen soap star that capitalizes on his young impressionable fan base for his so called "charity"? Yawn.
Regarding her "service animal" the point is she doesn't really need her dog to go abroad, to do her pap walks to grocery stores etc, only to commute the dog between LA and ATL depending on where she is following her husband to. It's not a service dog. It's her pet that has a phony vest.
