I will tell you upfront that this person is one of my favorite people in the world so I am a little biased when it comes to this kindness blind. Just because she is one of my favorite people does not mean I have seen every installment of the franchise she was in. I guess she is a B- list actress. She is better than the franchise. If you watched that hit cable show in its last season, she rocked a guest starring role. Anyway. This is about a movie she did with another actress from that cable show. One of the actors in the movie has cancer. The actor did not have enough credits or income to get the good SAG/AFTRA insurance so our actress called in a bunch of favors and got the guy cast in ten projects over the course of about three weeks so he could qualify for the best level of insurance. A small thing, but very nice.

Have you been around a while? There's a loooong history of fake commenters harassing and baiting Derek - even accusing him of child rape. They're not him. That's been firmly established.
What Derek said is that last December it wasn't this troll-y and that is true. People often go back to the original comments that are linked in the reveal. It's not heavy-duty research.
So, when Derek stops showing up regularly - maybe once a week - and some slimy asshat decides to follow him around saying stupid shit, it becomes fairly obvious what's happening.
If he's hardly ever here anymore, why is it his fault unless they're one of the people who follows him around the internet because they have no life of their own.
It's pretty obvious, if you look closely, when the trolling occurs in relation to what other commenters are here. It's not a mystery and some of us are aware of who's actually the fucked up person creating all the bullshit names on the fly and conversing with themselves, simply to needle a single commenter who's hardly ever here.
