I wonder if anyone has ability to see if Amber followed up on her claim that she was donating the entire divorce settlement to charity?? I don't think she had any legal obligation to do it but she said she would. Wouldn't shock me if it didn't all go to charity (or any.)
I think Depp donated it to charity in her name and she never actually saw the money. I kind of remember TMZ writing this up.
Yes but her attorney's went after Depp when he said he was going to do that because he legally cannot. The court said he has to pay her not make a charitable donation. I never heard how it was resolved if it has. I know he did make a donation to a couple of charities but her lawyers got involved and said he couldn't just do that. Then they talked about him having to donate $14 million instead of 7. Can't find any stories saying if it was resolved or how.
She did donate--the entire proceeds of the settlement, I believe. Wish I could remember where I read it--Perez Hilton it TMZ, I think?

Yeah, I didn't like what Depp did, on principle. Whatever the truth of the situation, this was a divorce with domestic violence allegations, where the accused was ordered to pay his ex-wife, but decided to spend the money for her. I would hope the court did force him to pay up twice for that, that's not on.

Elon won't marry her. He's clearly got a type, and she's not it, but also she tries too hard/doesn't know how to play the game and certainly if he did marry her he'd never allow her to manipulate him the way other men have.
Susan that's not what happened at all, he was not ordered to pay by the court. They agreed to a settlement between themselves to avoid going to court. The abuse allegations were not a factor in this settlement.
